This episode is interesting because we can see the crime lab employee Joyce Gilchrist, the forensic chemist who was found to have falsified evidence in more than 1700 ceases, including innocent people who were executed or served long prison sentences. She’s the expert who spoke about the man found burning in his pickup truck, the final case of this episode.

Paying someone to kill your husband WITH HIS OWN GUN... but make it look like a break-in gone bad, and leave the wife talking on the phone in the kitchen alive? If there's a noise at night, and I'm taking a gun to investigate - my wife best keep her ass in the bedroom with the other gun and the phone ready to dial 911 if she hears a gunshot, and hunker down and hold her own until cops get there. I AM WILLING TO GIVE MY LIFE FOR MY WIFE. I will NOT let her follow me to investigate noises sop we can both get taken out and nobody is able to call for medical/cops if I get overtaken.

Mannnnn…everytime I watch these series and the murders involve both parents, whether it be one murdered the other or they were both murdered, I feel so bad for the kids. One day both parents are there, next they’re gone from your life! It makes it even worse when the kids are young and don’t truly understand.

My husband loves to see this shows . My mom is an old woman, the other day I was telling my husband that I had asked my mom when she was going to shower, so I could turn the water on for her , my husband told me to leave her alone, I said no she has to shower, he kept telling me to leave her , so I said ok sign me a
paper that says she doesn’t have to shower, so he said why? I answered , because when social services come over I have something that says you said she didn’t have to shower.
So then he said “this is my house and whatever I say has to be done. “ then like a stupid girl I said “ this is my house too”
And he said , this is not your house , what makes you say that?I said the government I answered. Oh my god he was so angry , he answered we will see?. I got tired of his bullshit and change the subject. Now I wonder if he plans to kill me. 😊

At the 25:35 mark, it's not the SF Ranch, it's the S Bar F Ranch. This case was featured in the Forensic Files episode entitled The Talking Skull.
The name of Russell Stager is pronounced incorrectly in this video. His name isn't pronounced Stagger, it's supposed to be pronounced Stager, with a long a, such as in Fay or Gail. His case is also featured on Forensic Files.

One day I was sitting at the kitchen table having a beer with my father. I was also leaving in four days and going to Vietnam so I asked him something I should have never asked. After taking a sip of beer I said, "Dad, can you tell me what it was really like when you and your men liberated a concentration camp in Europe?"
Instantly he froze and slowly looked at the ceiling and tears began to roll down his cheeks and then he said, "You'll never understand man's inhumanity to man, not even after you see it up close you still can't understand it." Then he got up and left the house and that's when my mother smacked me on the shoulder and said, "Ask that man anything you want to but never about the camps, never about the camps."

Also, these episodes are from when crime was prosecuted. Unlike in L.A.

Every night. Get all comfy in bed. Scroll thru assorted Shorts for awhile. (Love Tiptoe & his adventures.) Move over to an hour of dinosaur/sharks/crocodile events/programs. Around 11pm, hit the true crime for the rest of the night. It's on automatic, so I don't have to bother with selection. Favorites: Cold Case Files, cold case crimes recently solved, (love it when some nefarious piece of crap is going about his life secretly chuckling to himself how he got away with murder ten, twenty, thirty, or more, years ago when the cops come knocking with an arrest warrant! Serial killers are fascinating. They always talk about red flags, but when that red flag is waving parents/teachers/friends/associates always deny that Johnny is going to turn into a serial killer. He's just going thru a phase. And after lives are lost, those same people say, weellll I wasn't sure, figured someone else would say something. And killers keep on killing, & whoever happens to cross their paths keep on dying. But no one wants to be the first to say anything. Child crime is the most disturbing. Kids being arrested for murdering their families, friends, classmates, random strangers are getting younger & younger. Usually the reason is money, dating, for the hell of it. Very sad commentary on the direction of our current society.
