  • Filmed on 07/05/2024. So, after a chaotic morning of travel disruption and major issues resulting in us having to change our plans at least 3 times. We finally end up along the Snow Hill lines and to the busy junction station of Stourbridge Junction (Season 11 Episode 10)
What to be said about this station is it is home to the shortest branch line which is 3 minutes to the town of Stourbridge Town. In its time, this has been worked by the Bubble Car and the class 153 Sprinter units. Now, they run every 10 minutes and worked by what is best described as the baby Pacer known as the People Parry Carrier class 139. West Midlands Railway has just 2 units available to them to work on the short shuttle along the branch line.
There are no Chiltern Railways services on this day due to ASELF overtime ban which has resulted in cut backs of Chiltern Railway services which are capped to hourly to London Marlybone. But, there are 2 MK3 sets and class 68's stored at Stourbridge Junction sidings.

Nice to see trains like the 139s and west midland trains.

Well, the small and unique vehicle to say the least. On my opinion, described as the Baby Pacer :-)

The frequent Bubble as well. It's a nice station and good noteables of class 172's. Also, the former London Overground class 172's. They do suit the West Midlands Railway livery and branding well :-)
