If gara was smart at 3:48 right before saskue chidori pierces the sand he would exit through the back of the sand ball and since saskue hand is stuck in the ball use it to crush his hand
Yeah, considering what happened with Lee I'm very disappointed in the way they portrayed Gaara in this fight. Like, he was doing all sorts of sneaky shit in the fight with Lee and against Sasuke who copies Lee's movements to attack him he just balls up and waits to be attacked. Why not replace himself with a Sand Clone like he did in the middle of Primary Lotus in literally the blink of an eye when he sees Sasuke charging him at full speed from half the arena away?
How did the Sasukes sharingan copy rock lees speed? But speed isn't a jutsu.
He didn't Kakashi taught him how to open the first gate. Is this ever brought up or explored again? Nope.

SINCE THE SAND VILLAGE CLEARLY HANDLED GAARA THERE SINCE GAARA HAS BEEN LIVING THERE ALL HIS LIFE PLUS GAARA IS STILL THERE ALIVE AND HEALTHY.. plus it was GAARA SAND NOT GAARA HIMSELF that was causing the problems.. if they left Gaara alone.. It was one thing that they only made Shikamaru Chunin, but I do not understand why no one else was pissed off that they didn't make Chunin. Like Naruto won his match, and then he beat Gaara with a bad ass summoning, saving the village from Shukaku. If I were Naruto I'd be fucking pissed, same with Sasuke. The other Jonin and Chunin combined struggled to even deal with a standard giant snake. I get why Naruto didn't make it, I just don't see why he accepted it so easily.
It also makes it unbelievable how everyone else became Chunin upon Naruto's return. These exams are insanely tough and selective, and the Chunin exams Filler Arc in Shippudden felt like a joke by comparison.
Watching this and watching Adult Sasuke fight in Boruto is like day and night.
Adult Sasuke is more precise and more polished in his movements. His attacks are also more calculated.
Kid sasuke waste too much energy running around for nothing and not attacking while the sand shows an opening.
I understand that im kinda stating the obvious that Adult Sasuke is more experience. My point is, Sasuke have really grown as a Ninja as an adult. Theres a HUGE gap between Kid Sasuke and Adult Sasuke's fighting style.
Kid saskuebrunnng around isn’t wasting energy and it’s also calculated if u think about what his plane was…. The point of running around was to confuse gara and his sand so he wouldnt be able to see where saskue was coming from and his sand wouldn’t be able to defend

He arguably has even GREATER speed than (lee stated by lee himself) they’re using the same taijutsu style, and he has the pre cog from the sharingan that Lee lacks. Right after this the Sand attacks the village with the Sound Village. Gaara retreats with his siblings, Sasuke catches up and gets beaten because Gaara unleashes Shukaku, and he can’t handle the curse mark anymore.
So both kind of win? Sasuke made Gaara retreat but Gaara won the rematch.
As a fan of the two equally lol i like to call it a draw

So the plot was that the sand was going to use gaara and shukaku to kill the hokage, when the third fought the nine tails and gaara got pretty much recked by two genin, one that doesnt even knoe ninjutsu

Gaara and Shukaku was meant to do the same thing The Nine Tails did.. kill thousands of people since Lord Orochimaru himself planned to kill The Third Hokage by summoning The 1st, 2nd and 4th Hokage to do it, Rock Lee and Sasuke were clearly going to lose to Gaara.. Naruto had help in defeating Gaara..
