VanCan, you're like the Bob Ross of mountain biking. So calm and collected... lets just sprinkle in a few tables here and a few step-ups here lol
Haha you know those moments when a comment you read perfectly describes something you hadn't yet put into words 🤘😆🤘
And you see this little drop off, that's gonna be our little secret.
‘And maybe we’ll just add a few brush strokes of double over here on D1’
MTB Portal haha
Beat the devil out of that drop
I didn’t even know that single black option existed until I watched this haha. Good to see the original is still kickin!
I think the split onto the single black line is an old trail they redid. The pro line might be the best trail in the park!
Sick.
I love how you're hitting that line for the first time and just chatting away calmly.👌
This trail is my dream... I'm just a little 14 year old kid but I'm so stoked to ride it as if I could right now. Maybe when I can fly from California with a butt-load of money, I'll hit Whistler to its fullest! Hopefully one day.
Thank you for showing rippin rutabaga! I’ve been wanting to see it since everything got redone and everyone always just films the pro line!
Your jump flow is so dialed! I wish it was as easy as your making it appear. 👍🏽
This dude can ride forreal tho!!!
MAD SKILLZ!!!
DOPE BIKE!!!
DOPE TRAIL!!!
DOPE RIDER!!!
still never old of seeing this awesome place. It amazes me also that yall can just boost off those jumps and still keep your talking consistent and normal. Someday i will someday i will. Great video sending it
Was wondering if the commentary was added later ?
@@mrjagriff don think so.
8:15 man that wahle tail looks huge
Monday Morning Motivation! Love it!
Sick dude! That trail is so fast
Great video. Nice too see both lines.
Awesome man, sending it 🤘
Wow, you made that pro line look easy! Good job! :)
nice job! great vids man keep it up
these dimensions in a row made me freak out a little bit before too. After 4 days we start to get used to these amazing trailbuilding skills and our owns ;) I guess, this is what we will attack 2morrow! Thanks for sharing and congratatulation for having mastered it so clean!! :D
Who are these people giving this video thumbs down?!?! Awesome video quality, awesome audio quality, amazing riding, what more do some people want? They must be other vloggers. Great video. Just recently discovered this channel. Subscribed!
Maybe they don't like jumps, haha
Great riding man🤘
Nicely done Nick 🙂👍
I feel like I did as a kid when I just watched a horror movie. That drop
Great informations ! thank you so much...!
Such beautiful berms - and riding to match
Wow the audio was so nice 👌 And the riding was on point of course! 🤘🤘
Thanks!
smooth sailing!
Amazing riding!
that pro line looks rowdy... 2nd step up - yeowww!
It’s a big one!
Damn - you've got it dialed. And that step up looks massive.
It’s a big boi
Nice, would be cool to see the speed you are going on the screen!
Maybe I’ll turn on the gps next time
@@VanCan How would you add GPS data to video? WHat would you use to record the telemetry?
@@michaelkossin2765 go pros can do gps tracking since the hero 5 its build in
You bike sounds sooooo nice and smooth!
I just Love your Videos man🤙🏼
Thanks!
Fyah! Those headwinds didn't seem to trip you up too bad.
Just a few extra cranks here and there
Nice riding👌🏽
nice video and commentary , enjoyed both lines
Thanks
🤟🤟Great riding
Looks easy enough 🌲😳🌲
New dirt merchant looks gnarlier than a line on camera. Subbed to see more smooth sailing.
It’s definitely more advanced trail. A-Line is rated a single black, where dirt merchant is now a Pro-Line. Thanks for the sub!
VanCan you’ve got it dialed nice and smooth
I cant get over how calm and collective you are at that speed. I just dont have anywhere an amount of skill compared to so many others. I ride trails in Cumberland.....sorry.... I survive trails in Cumberland.
I am sure you rip and enjoy yourself. That’s the big picture my man.
Dude...you’re casually rippin’
i love tech, but i could watch bike park all day...
Holy shitballs you make that look easy. #goals
oh man, i dream about getting to ride out there someday... so many amazing looking trails. you are very lucky. :)
You'll be watching this stuff and think, "Ah, man, I got that.." and then you'll see it in person and be scared shitless. I speak from experience. If you take a trip here, make it at least two weeks, so you can warm up to the big jump trails.
@@YFZriderdude15 heck yea man, i'm sure, lol. i'm practicing on the biggest jumplines i can find on the east coast. i have hawleywood cleared, next up fort hill. i figure if i can clear fort hill i should be ready to try dirt merchant ;)
@@squirrelsmovingpictures You've got skills! Don't freeze up in the air. It takes only one bump on a jump face lip to send you over. I either stand straight up and press down hard on the face or I do a mini scrub. Either way I'm putting all my weight in a certain direction and telling the bike where to go. When I started racing MX ten years ago, I learned on motorcycles pretty fast that unless I made the bike react to me, it would react to the track, which was usually beat to hell. These bike parks aren't nearly as beat up as MX tracks though, which is nice. But anyway you're better than I thought! You look ready for some Whistler runs! Go get it!
@@YFZriderdude15 haha thanks man. i can't wait. :) gonna be epic :)
Way to rip it Van.. You're footage looks great!
Like a podracer smooth riding
Hype vis
That guys reaction was quite terrifying with no video to go with it
Ha! Ya.
I never knew you could jump so well
Nice
I can’t wait to get my trek marlin 6
This is unimaginable to me - really.
Hey Vancan, i'd like to know you gimbal setup, for example the various motor speeds and reactivity. Cheers man!
I’m making a video on it soon. I’m using the karma grip and the control loop is setup by GoPro.
Does the creek gap at the end of old dirt merchant still exist
Kevin mcclellan no it doesn’t there’s a big jump that’s replaced it
What bike are you riding in this?
2:10 i not see no railing my friend ?
What kind of bike is that?
How big of a drop is it off of the bridge?
10ft at least.
@@VanCan dam
how do you corner so well
A lot of park riding.
What bike?
is whistler busy on fridays? will be there next friday for the first time
It’s not too busy during the week, unless it’s a holiday.
Awesome! Cant wait!
Was there a bit of a head wind?
Little bit. Had to put in a few extra pedals
@@VanCan Good video man your riding is great
#headwind
I just recognized that jump at 4:12! Skills with Phil jumped that i'm sure. Edit: yep: ruclips.net/video/-nhLNBKHjUM/видео.html at 21:02 I only watched a few of his vids...so it was cool to spot a jump/park.
avg speed on that track?
Real fast
Have u ever been to loutet dirt jumps
No I haven’t.
Dude u gotta come down there one day for some sick jump jams
Nobody:
Nobody at all:
This guy: “oooh yeh there’s a little bit of headwind”
I don’t control the weather
100th
Not impressed!
