Since the early days of Lucero and Lance inventing slappys, to 80s skaters, Its always been about surfing into it. Like Jason Adams said, its not a slappy if you dont surf and ride into the curb with speed. Most curb skaters now just have the tricks. Ace does proper slappys and has the tricks.
