- The Scenic Grand Ocean View Staterooms onboard Carnival Sunrise are 320 square feet and feature two huge panoramic windows with "bridge" views. These category 6K staterooms can be booked for just a little more than standard ocean view rooms but with 100 extra square feet to enjoy.

Sir I am the guy in the other video giving the tour of room 9201 on the Carnival Conquest. I was so shocked at how much space there was, and I had the room to myself! I have not seen ONE sailing with one of these rooms available in the last six months, so I am still in disbelief how lucky I was!

@@TalkingCruise was I correct in mentioning there are only 2 of these rooms per ship, and that only five of Carnivals ships have them? Freedom, Sunrise, Sunshine, Conquest, and Liberty?

Nice - I know the new Princess Sky has ocean view rooms with the same floor to ceiling windows (but I think there are only 4 ocean view rooms - and no other OV rooms available)!
Hi Bonnie, you are correct, the ones on Sky Princess are the first ocean view rooms for any of the previous Royal Class ships (Royal, Regal, Majestic).
THIS ship always had this room, they are located on deck 9. This was the frist room I had when I was on this ship. I didn't ask for it but was assigned to this room.
Hi Carolyn, the ones on Carnival Sunrise were added during the 2019 dry dock transformation. These rooms do also exist on other Carnival ships.

Hi Celina, thanks for watching and nice comments. My favorites are currently Carnival Horizon, Carnival Breeze, Carnival Sunrise and the certainly after she launches this year Carnival Mardi Gras. You can't go wrong with any of these ships.
How much did this room cost? I just saw it and it’s sold out right now but I’m trying to budget the cost in case it comes up from a cancellation.
Hi achelleturrentine129, thanks for watching. That was pre-covid (lower prices), 4 night cruise was around $1,500 for 4 people. I expect it to be much higher now, but you might get lucky.
