Thank you so much for another Limo video, can`t wait for any other Limo videos you can do. It does seem under powered, but Im sure they did a good enough job. I had a `96 Mark VIII, same color and all as the one Kyle has a video of but the power was much greater. Thank you very much ,Kyle
I love videos like this. Cars you just don't see every day (or maybe you do, but I think you get the point). I wonder if these cars ever get serviced, though. As you noted the door panel was loose, the ABS light never turned off, and for some reason the motor sounded...tired. Oh well; when you're in a limo it's all about the party in the back :)
Great review Kyle, but i will say that for a year 2000 Limo, that thing is in pretty good shape. Every limo, including brand new off the showroom floor models have minor issues. That clicking in the drivers compartment is a prime example, it's probably a relay going bad on the motherboard for the rear controls. As long as all the accessories work, and it's cosmeticly flawless in the passenger cabin, then it's ready for service lol. This coming from a Limo driver!
@stlchevy95 I'm a Limo driver, you will be suprised at how much power one of those old girls have, even with a full load, and all accessories on including dual A/C. the 4.6 is plenty of power to haul 8 people plus a driver around. Ford definitly did a superb job when designing the 4.6. My Grocery getter is a Town Car and the only engine work i've ever had to do was plugs and wires at 130,000 miles.
In my town you can rent this lincoln limousine one night and take a ride. The owner has a bus company. He ever folows the limousines when you rent it with his GMC Vandura. One day I have to rent it
my uncle had a black 1998 Lincoln Town Car Limo over a year ago and he sold his black one and he has a white 1998 Lincoln Town Car Limo and he still has it
@watso64 Yeah I agree. Those are the old school workhorses. Now it's all bout the beastin new 5.0, ls7, pstroke, duramax....the list goes on. I just wish that gm would bring back the 4.2 inline 6. We have one in our 02 trailblazer and it's for sure like a rock. Its got more hp than our gmc 4.8 (2000) Hauls ass like a dream:-)
@ford9572 Ummm... No. All horsepower is is a number calculated from RPM and torque. What counts to get the vehicle moving is torque. What counts to keep it moving is torque. Horsepower is just a marketing tool. Torque is what makes it ALL happen.
@Azureecosse It's not the horsepower that counts to get the car moving, It's the torque, Horsepower has absolutely nothing to do with getting a vehicle moving, It's how much low-end torque the engine has to get the vehicle moving, Horsepower is what is counted on to keep the vehicle moving.
@theimaginator16 Woahh. Well that makes sense though. Every manufacturer has to do tests to see what works best before they put it in production. I guess the 281 is like the gm 350 sortaspeak. Basic, and reliable. Lol I'm not even 16 so I'll take as much facts bout cars as possible. I want something that'll last. Chevy/ford 1/2 ton truck will do
I mean this amazingly luxurious for 2000, I mean come on!
i've been in a limo exactly like this and they are very nice. great video kyle!
You made some good points there. I did a search on the topic and found most people will agree with your video

I have a 99 Town Car With 271,000 Miles on it and it’s a limousine, I own it too so no need to be renting one lol
Kyle can you do a video of a Lexus SC400/300 PLEASE?
This ought to be the longest review you have ever done! lol!
I have the exact same car almost.
In my town you can rent this lincoln limousine one night and take a ride. The owner has a bus company. He ever folows the limousines when you rent it with his GMC Vandura. One day I have to rent it
I like it
I rode in one of these, they're awesome cars. xD
i used detail limos and party buss as my old job alot of fun and alot of detail have to go into cleaning and where everything goes
Towncar is my favorite full sized vehicle...but i gotta say 205 HP is pretty anemic especially from a 4.6 Liter V8.
This made me think, you should have done a Lincoln or Caddy hearse for Halloween!
I would just LOVE to have ridden in this limousine at one point.
Thanks Kyle never been in a limo :)
Wow good 😀👍
0:49 Saxofón Mercury Grand Marquis
where can I get the exterior center window moulding from?
That's alot of weight to lug around with just a 281. I'd suggest for it to have a 428. Buuut then again, it's not a race car:-P
Great review kyle
Kyle, do you have any vid of an bmw 5-series?
Dang, how do they keep those in such good condition? My minivan is only 2 years older than this, but its nothing but a big rusty hunk of metal now.
i should buy a limo, aconditionate it and trael around the country
would be nice and luxurious...
@cccchristianccc no he does cars at other dealers as well.
@watso64
thanks for the info, but thats still pretty low. should be around 300 HP at least. or even at least have more torque!
How long is this limo?
That's what I love about limos in ford. crown victorias
I want to see you try to do a test drive of this Kyle lol
Lovely
my uncle had a black 1998 Lincoln Town Car Limo over a year ago and he sold his black one and he has a white 1998 Lincoln Town Car Limo and he still has it

Hey man. Can u do a video about a mercedes ml320 cdi? please
Is it a 8 cyclinder ?
Hey how many miles to the gallon does it gets?
Forgive Repent these cars have a 4.6L V8 and this car gets 18 MPG on the city and 23 MPG on the highway
@saabkyle04 kyle that clik, whine is the power steering pump, and 1 of the front wheels needs a new ABS sensor by the abs light is on
do you have any other volvo vids?
@ford9572 Ummm... No. All horsepower is is a number calculated from RPM and torque. What counts to get the vehicle moving is torque. What counts to keep it moving is torque. Horsepower is just a marketing tool. Torque is what makes it ALL happen.
Do you think there is enough foot room in the back lol

What's the price?
@Azureecosse It's not the horsepower that counts to get the car moving, It's the torque, Horsepower has absolutely nothing to do with getting a vehicle moving, It's how much low-end torque the engine has to get the vehicle moving, Horsepower is what is counted on to keep the vehicle moving.
