Yeah i don't think Solar's coming back unless they give Lunar up or Evil Sun(or whoever Sun that was in one ep with Foxy) tells them how. Because apparently with the way Moon and Puppet are going it isn't gonna work at least that's what Evil Sun said.

This animation is so good. I love the “I’m sorry” as Solar’s face changes from laughing to disbelief and sadness, it works so well. And then just everything else is done so nicely.This makes me cry every time, keep up the great work.

Solar helped them a lot he saved Sun and Moon. He rebuilt the whole daycare in a week. He helped Lunar and Earth.
And he helped Moon try to protect their family.
Solar did so much for them I hope one day they return the favor because Solar had his problems and he didn't deserve to die at all.
