This looks like an ocean wave rolling under the water with a wee bit of it catching some daylight. The colors are magnificent!. I LOVE these galaxy pours of yours and already can't wait until the next one!
We are so enjoying watching you create beautiful art! Sending you much love and big happy hugs along with wishes for a fabulous week filled with inspiration, joy, and wonderful times with your family!! ~Cheryl and Mark
I love that you created super-thin layers in the bottom of your cup and then varied the layer thickness throughout the rest of the layering process, and then you swirled the pour before tilting off. The result is beautiful!! You know I'm a sucker for those translucent layered color cells and striped cells! I was a bit surprised that the green blended as much as it did, but I really like how the green mixed with the gold. You are still In The Zone!! Stay well, Sara, and have a wonderful week! Hugs ~Cheryl
Wauw Sarah beautiful! Thank you for Thank for sharing your beautiful art works. I live in the Netherlands, so I am happy for everything I can learn from you on RUclips. Your videos are educational! 😁
True respect, you are so talented. Just amazing. I need to thicken mine up. I love your videos. Thanks for sharing your art and teaching us about painting. Huggles always 👩🎨🎨💖🍀🦓🇺🇸🤗
Gorgeous Sarah !!!!!!!!!! I am in love with this one ... the flow and colours !!! I could stare at this for hours on end .. ty for sharing this beauty with us ... much luv
I absolutely love this one. 😍 I'm going to watch this video over and over! I always struggle with knowing when to let the paint tip off, and then end up losing a ton of the paint off the sides. This is a great video. Thanks! 🌹
I wasn't a fan of the green as you were layering your cup but the end results were awesome! I'll give the green a chance in my next pour. Thank you for being such an awesome teacher with both your words and the end results you get❣
I just love this one. It's so cheery looking with the variety of highlights. I have decided to try this and hope for the best. I've tried so many times to come close to yours but I do something wrong and one would never guess I was trying to do that. Oh well. I'll keep trying.
This might be a new favorite. 🥰 The colors are stunning 💥 and play so nicely together. When you finished laying the paint and started tilting, all I could think of was twilight. And then mix a little of Vincent VanGogh’s “Starry Night” in and it seemed perfect! Thanks for sharing this beauty❤️👍🏻
The white rose sure turned out pretty, but i have to say i prefer the straight pours over any 'gimmick' (in a good way) pours. There's something about those petal/feather shapes, that look like spread wings...just beautiful!
Hi Sarah... I just love your choices. I am a long time artist and have recently been attracted to acrylic pouring. Have you ever decided to try varnishing one with mat varnish.? As...I never liked the high gloss on my oil or acrylic paintings, mat or satin varnish was applied. I varnished one of my pours with gloss and I didn't like the fussiness of trying to get the flawless surface. Anyway.... I went over the messy gloss varnish with mat and wa-la.... I think I saved it. I hate it when something can't be fixed. I've learned in the past that mat hides any ridiculous flaws.
I loved your painting so much, that I ordered a bird house, that is hopefully the same. Of course, even if it's on 1/2 as wonderful as yours, I will be thrilled. This straight pour is amazing. Thank you for sharing all of your paintings.
A NEW year & Spring is coming!!! Excitement is brewing...soooooo let’s see a Ninja Swipe in vibrant colors OR a wrecked ring pour in electric colors!⚡️ Get down & jiggy with it❣️❣️❣️🥰
Initial pour looks like a desert at night. Can’t wait to see what it comes out to be! 24k Gold and that Sapphire are two of my fave colors. Always pick one up when I’m out so I don’t run out! 1. What kind of gloves do you wear? Reuse? 2. Also, what colors do you think might go well will Sapphire and Silver? Thanks!
As usual Sarah is great. Made me want to try the Arteza paints, and guess what. Arteza has a 20% discount for groundhog day(s), Feb 2-4. Thanks, Sarah.
Hi Sarah, this is beautiful. I'm in the UK so we don't have the same paints as you guys. I'm just not getting cells unless I add a few drops of silicone and even then still not many cells. Do you use silicone? Without silicone I'm not getting any cells. There are so many conflicting videos, some say 3 parts floetrol, 1 paint, some say 1 part water, 1 part paint, 1 part fleotrol, some like yours are completely different. But no one actually tells you how thick the paint should be. I've tried making the white thicker but that doesnt work, then thinner, again that doesn't work. I use 1 part paint, 2 parts floetrol, 1 part water, 3 drops of silicone, but no really good cells. I'd be really grateful for your help. I'm wasting so many canvases!! Thanks so much. Heather
Another beautiful pour Sarah! Those ribbons remind me of that hard candy that I don't know the name of? Love all the colors you use. Your such a talented artist.
Hi Sarah, 🌸🌼 love everything about this pour ❤️❤️❤️ .... you made my day 🥰 , it’s my birthday and I feel like this was for me...lol.... thank you x x x x 🌸🌼🌸🌼🌸❤️🌸❤️
Hi, Karen. Sarrah stated that she usually lets her paint sit overnight after mixing them. See video at approximately 12:00 to 12:25. If your paint isn't too thick, you can tap the bottom of the cup against the table to bring some bubbles to the top. That doesn't get most of the bubbles out when working with thicker consistency paints. I hope that helps.
Sooooo pretty. I love the purples in this. Sarah can I ask a question. If you mix your paints the day before and they thicken up a little would you add some water to thin them down?? I have a shake in my hand and if I try to pour after I mix paints, as I custom mix a lot of colours, my hand shakes really badly because it is so tired from stirring so I am learning to be patient and pour the day before but even though I cover my paints I am finding that some, especially metallics thicken up overnight so I was just wondering what you do in this case? Thanks so much 🧡
😍😍😍❤ AMAZING😍😍 I love the colours combination ❤ Unfortunately I couldn't look at this video on my television, it's so windy here today, I lost connection all the time 😤 I'll try tomorrow 🙂
This is really cool. I love the ribbon effect! I've been aiming to move my canvas in more of a circular motion too for a bit before tilting off. I like the effect so far. I should create an instagram account to show art there. Of course, whenever I do that I'll probably name it something else than my channel name here since my channel name here is for growing out grey hair. LOL. Pour on, Sarah! And thanks for panning more slowly! It's very appreciated!!!
The DecoArt white satin enamel promotes the formation of "cloud-like" cells. Not always circular, but always interesting. Most people prefer to mix it with Artist Loft white as Sarah usually does.
@@mondobongo100 Thank you. I was wondering if it was the satin enamel that contributed to that 'pillow' affect. That explains why I have not been able to attain that in my attempt to replicate. Thanks again.🤗
Spectacular result, Sarah. That glorious combination of deep aubergine and chartreuse - it reminds me of a stunning show garden at the Royal Chelsea Flower Show in London. Not sure if this link will post OK - it's some deep purple columbines. 😊 media.gardenista.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/black-barlow-columbine.jpg

Well I attempted a pour and the issue I am having is that the paints seem to sink into different levels. Is thickness the only way to control that?

Awww well happiest of birthdays to you! Glad it made you smile💕💕
Gorgeous one again! About how long do you wait for curing and sealing?
3 weeks and then varnish especially now since the heat is on. Things are curing faster
Wish I. Oils master this!!! Fabulousness!!💙
Thank you 😊
Just beautiful! Do you have a list of the colors you used in this piece?

Hi Sarah newbie here so I might have missed how do you get the amazing cells ? Do you use silicone?Love your art !
Nice again Sarah❣️
Thank you ☺️
Beautiful - as per normal. You mentioned that you just mixed the paint, how long do you normally let the paint sit?
Hi, Karen. Sarrah stated that she usually lets her paint sit overnight after mixing them. See video at approximately 12:00 to 12:25. Over night usually 😊

For me the thicker the better. But it depends on Floetrol. If I have thick Floetrol I would probably have to thin it.
Very beautiful
Thank you ☺️
So beautiful! It reminds me of an abalone shell.
Thank you so much
😍😍😍❤ AMAZING😍😍

Your so easy to learn from-thank you for sharing. Would you please do an ocean-flip cup pour. Something really simple for us beginners.
Thank you
Thank you ☺️
Wow!
Beautiful, don't you use liquitex gloss in your mixture?
Never just floetrol
When you say 2 scoops satin enamel, approx. how much? So very pretty!
She said in the video that she scooped it with the stir stick, so no precise measurement.
This is really cool. I love the ribbon effect! I've been aiming to move my canvas in more of a circular motion too for a bit before tilting off. I like the effect so far. This is really amazing, I'm in love with your work.
Why the different mixing ratios if I may ask?
Different consistency of paints require more Floetrol. The thicker the paint also has the most pigmentations
Question: How would you mix Decoart Metalic paints Saffire Blue say with F. What ratio as mine don't work. ??
1:1 with Floetrol.
Very satisfying.
MissArtist123 used to do pour paintings like this.
BaronVonTacocat thanks so much!

I'm curious about the satin enamel that you add to your base white. What does the satin enamel do?
The DecoArt white satin enamel promotes the formation of "cloud-like" cells. Not always circular, but always interesting. Most people prefer to mix it with Artist Loft white as Sarah usually does.
