I learned a lot from you, LW, and heal botting is NOT his thing. Even solo healing, he tends to struggle. that's what the TREE is for, lol, but poke damaging with him is so much more fun. i love this playstyle, and I'm glad to see you keeping us zen/lw mains updated
i think the reason this works is because you are very proactive, most lifeweavers sit back and heal, meanwhile you stay just behind your frontline and act as bait. Nice strat ngl.
You are 100% right. This video was a good example that you can get punished sometimes, but to me, I think it's worth the risk opposed to just hoping things happen lol
I feel like on any hero with good survivability options, you should be pushing as close to the line as you can. In some situations, you may need to save abilities to use reactively, but if you’re not under enough threat to be getting value denying enemies’ aggression onto you, then I think you gotta try to draw that threat. Otherwise you’re just not getting much out of those abilities.
people: lifeweaver is a long range hero Lifeweaver players: hes short to mid range.... you can tell because illari is a mid range hero and he has better survivability THEN ILLARI in her own range. Especially if your on one of those good maps with lots of high ground to escape to that little detail is how we keep up with healbot lifeweavers, your heals have a travel time! So while your wayyy back in narnia I can just kill your team. My last game alone 13,452k healing 4,000k damage 13 elims and 19 assist, I don't need to focus on healbotting or how high my healing numbers are I'm gonna get 10k healing regardless if I'm doing my job correctly.
Seeing your team's health stay high without you having to heal makes me happy for you. Down in the metals they need constant attention. It's sometimes hard to put damage on the board.
Whenever I feel like I’m getting trapped in a cycle of scrambling to heal teammates who are on the back foot, the situation improves when I find ways to take off-angles and draw attention off of my team. The only time I really find a hard heal focus to be successful is when I have a very aggressive team who are already doing a good job taking multiple angles, in which case I have lots of space to swan around the map and pocket whoever is being the most aggressive.
Quit making excuses that Lifeweaver can't do damage. FIND A WAY

Wow man your good! I have a question: except from zenyatta and lifeweaver, who is your favorite hero?

Don't lead yourself to believe that or you'll fall for the trick also.
I did u2gm and finished with much more damage than I do in GM!
