Toyota Yaris is beautiful but aggressively and over designed...it could have been better. Where as both Honda City and Hyundai Verna are beautifully and sporty design and also maintains the minimum elegance in design language. Conclusion( Honda City is the best package over the price.)

Usually sedans are better to drive.. but Scorpio despite being a SUV is much more fun to drive then these sedans even though it rolls quite a bit in corners!
I bought Verna petrol as it was 2 lakh cheaper for the top model than city’s ZX auto and I got 6 airbags compared to 2 in city (vx) manual... city offers much more space than Verna and rest including features and build quality is absolutely better than the city it just feels more solid from inside to outside and it shows as Verna is almost 200kg heavier than the Honda. Performance wise both are petty equal Verna is short geared thanks to 6 speed transmission and offers low end torque better than many turbo diesels which is a boon inside city traffic as it can easily crawl over a slow speed breaker in third gear without any stuttering... refinement is the best in class it just doesn’t make any sound even at the rev limiter it’s pretty silent... space in the rear is the least in the segment but not useless as shown in many of the reviews just go to a showroom and check it for yourself and people actually do buy it, I agree city has a long legacy behind it but in the recent years Verna sells as much as city does if not more ...so despite having less rear space than the competition if your family (like mine : 5’10” and below) can easily fit in the car then definitely go for it it’s the better car you won’t be disappointed. It just feels mature and a class above in the ride quality as well. Even after all that said you can’t go wrong with either of them except in the case of rear space of Verna but if that’s not an issue you can definitely go for it it’s a “premium” feeling car and once you check them both out in person then you’ll know what I mean by “premium”

My poor mind just can't comprehend the uneven body lines and shapes of the Yaris and the disproportionate shape of City even though it tries hard to capture attention with its flashy body curves and designs but it just doesn't work for me as compared to the subtle design of Verna. Its fluidic nature and sharp body lines makes it seem to look more catchy for people just like me. Only if the rear window was a bit larger;small people might feel claustrophobic backseat. But it does get complimented by that sunroof even if its not that large or panaromic. Nevertheless Vernai i would choose Verna. Call me biased but it works for me the best
