Hello . As an apple farmer in south Korea, I didn't know apples can be grown and bearing in Kenya. I thought that most farmers of hot weather countries don't wanna farm apples. It's good to know that Kenya can have apple orchards.
Respected Peter Wambugu, kindly give a detail of your max. and minimum winter temperatures in Kenya where these apple varieties are shown growing in the video. I shall feel highly obliged of you if you kindly tell what all varieties are being cultivated in order to have a comparative view of its cultivation in my sub temperate subtropical conditions in India and to explore the possibility of their scope. Awaiting response. Welcome and heartiest regards. Thanks Sir, this is indeed a landmark achievement of not only growing apple in Kenya but exporting the same as well besides domestic market. How is fruit quality as compared to its cousins in colder or temperate climates.Keep it up Sir. God bless you.
I love seeing how much care goes into each harvest.
