This is my personal favorite opening of City Hunter.
This one comes second opening for 91 Comes first for me hehe
All openings/endings are excellent, but my personal favorite is the City Hunter 3 OP "Running To Horizon", close to it Special 3 OP (so many manga references, i love it) "Illusion City" and the first season's OP "Ai yo kienaide".

@@stalinsoulz7872 to be fair though while i'm sure a young man in constant life and death situations would have a huge sex drive, with how easy Ryo 'turns it off' and gets to business makes me think that in some part, it's an act. Kinda like how Spiderman jokes about with villains and civilians alike. Puts people at ease.

I love this opening so much just how Saeko and her sister just look so fabulous with their hair and then the scene of them all just walking like OGs. Second half of City Hunter 2 was the prime.

@@rcikdey6452season 2 on the second to finale was peak city hunter it wasn't just stand alone shows but has but of pieces in each to last two episodes of it like the first season with two dedicated episodes as closing for the 1st season. also favorite episodes got to be Terrorist Kaori one.

This art style was rare even at the time. The main reason Sunrise was able to make a show with character art that leans this close to realism is because they were riding high off of Gundam, meaning they had enough staff, money and experienced project leads to make something like this.

City Hunter was such a good anime
At the end. When Ryo pulls Kaori closer, there's a space between Ryo and Saeko. I like to think Big Bro Makimura stands with them in spirit. Especially if you watched the latter episodes of CH2

I want to create my own manga one day I grew up with this artstyle never seen City Hunter until recently and was absolutely shocked at how big this manga was in other parts of the world definitely a timeless classic.

Ryo Saeba should be the one in the center at the end of the song 🎵 instead of Saeko Nogami.
He is the star and the main protagonist of the entire City Hunter franchise series, after all.
Man, they really did Reika dirty. She was prominent enough of a character to be featured in this opening but by City Hunter '91, she's all but a memory. Pretty much this series' Judy Winslow.
