Been thinking of going to a pontoon. At 34 with a 7 year old, I think he would have more fun on it and it is much more comfortable. Not to mention, we can bring more people with a better setup. I would need something fast with good handling. Like the Lowe retreat.

Any one know what was the RPM at 60 mph and what pitc/diameter prop was used?

***** at WOT trimmed all the way out it hit 6100 RPM, and the prop was 16.25" x 15" three-bladed stainless-steel.

    What about turning?

Livinthedream It does vary from boat to boat, but generally speaking, they handle pretty well. Some remain more or less flat in turns and some (usually those with a lower center tube) bank in a bit.

You need a GPS!!! That boat will not do 58 MPH

bill Kohler sure it is an indicated 60 mph but to be conservative I would bet it does a gps of about 55 depending on the prop configuration.

Are you saying that is not a fast boat?
