New beginnings leaves seized moments of memories. You mentioned a few things that are a part of African Americans culture as well. It was a reminder of my ancestry. I did a DNA test several years ago to learn of my ancestry. My ancestry is a combination of Fula from Guinea Bissau, Mende-Temne from Sierra Leone and Kru from Liberia. But I have seemingly had a love and curiosity for Kenya. From childhood I have longed to go to the Motherland.
