Thanks so much Kristie. It will not be easy to let any go. I thought I wanted to complete my historical collection before I do that but it might take a while. I am still missing a full size Addy, Emily, Courtney and the Hoffman twins. I really only want Addy and Emily since the 80’s and 90’s don’t seem that historical to me. I do enjoy the ebb and flow of doll collecting. 🥰
Caroline is one of my fave historical dolls too. Idk what it is about her but she is just beautiful. Kit looks great in Claudie’s jazz outfit. In my world, Kit and Claudie are good friends. I couldn’t choose a fave historical, I love too many for too many different reasons! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Dollahlah. I appreciate you watching. I felt very grateful when I found Rebecca second hand. I think she cleaned up quite well. Somehow I feel more of a connection with dolls that have been loved before. ❤
Ahhh you have one of my favorite pr-Raphaelite paintings by Waterhouse. Felicity was the first AG doll I bought for my daughter. I have her now along with Sam, Molly, Kaya, Josephina, Nanea and Addy. The next doll I would like to get is Claudie. We are having too much fun!!
Thank you for noticing the painting on the wall. It is actually a replica painted by me. ☺️ It sounds like you have a very nice collection of dolls too. You will love Claudie. I am on the look out for a nice Addy. Thanks for watching! 🥰
I have Samantha from the same era as your NIB. She has sort of shorter hair, too! I remember being surprised her hair wasn't longer when she came to me! I love her all the same!❤ You have particularly beautiful Elizabeth, Nellie and Melody! I don't know why dolls from the same release can look diferent, but they do. Beautiful collection! I always make my dolls a part of Holiday decorating. They all have their Holidays outfits waiting to put on no later than mid November. Their pets also get red bows!😄 I'm happy you shared your AG girls! Your collection is bigger than I thought!👏
Thank you for your comments! I appreciate hearing that my Samantha from that time having shorter hair is normal. I am very happy with my Nellie and newest Melody and my Elizabeth is another favourite doll. Sadly her pin curls are frizzy and sparse. Have a lovely day 🥰
Beautiful collection, i have most of the same girls as you, only two Samantha's though 😄 I don't have Cesilie so of course i think she's in the top of my favorites on your dolls, and Caroline is a beauty 😍 all of them actually 😅👍 Have a great weekend 💞
Thank you for your nice comment! I didn't intend to have four Samantha's. LOL I will have to decide who to let go at some point. I'm glad you like my Cecile. I think she's gorgeous. Her hair isn't perfect, but it still has ringlets, so it looks good enough for me. You have a good weekend too! 😃
I hear you, i have two of several dolls, bought in lots and as a ekstra with the intended doll. I always plan to sell the duplicate but that is yet to happen 😂 I don't think dolls need to be perfect, it only make them unik and special 🥰😉 Thank you 🌸
Hi Starryeyeschick, My Samantha in the box is labeled Pleasant Company on the back of her neck, but I'm not sure the exact year as I purchased her on MP
@@CherishedDollFriendsyes, but Mattel used the Pleasant Company neck stamp years into the 2000s. With that style of box, your doll was purchased at the AG store. Your doll has a body tag on her torso. True PC dolls don’t have body tags (except in rare circumstances). She has the box style and look of an 2004-2005 Samantha - when the hair became shorter and curlier. She is definitely not a PC doll, just has the old neck marking. The other Samanthas you showed (besides your BeForever of course) are true PC. If you examine them, you can find many differences between the PC and Mattel era dolls - PC dolls have softer vinyl, softer and lighter eyelashes, lack of a body tag, higher quality hair, even the writing of the PC neck stamp looks different. PC dolls are chunkier and squishy.
Thank you for that information. I am still new at identifying the age of American Girl dolls. You are right she has a short body tag which says 2008 actually, but the Pleasant Company imprint on the back is still in the older hand printed style with the copyright C to the left and no numbers below.
:O How dare you say Penny not cute enough to keep in the shot!!! lol. If little girl me could jump through this video and steal all your dolls, she would.

Gorgeous collection of dolls❤ Thank you so much for sharing your treasures
Thank you 🤗 I appreciate your kind comment!
Beautiful collection I love Felicity , Caroline and Kirsten, those are my favorite.
Thank you so much! I appreciate your nice comment.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful collection. I'm interested to see who stays and who moves on to a different home if you do decide to downsize a bit.

Beautiful collection! I really like your dreamer Samantha ❤
Thank you Flanuora! It's funny how there are so many variations in the Samantha's. I guess that's why I have four! LOL🥰
I really love your Lady of Shalott painting…I know you must be an Anne fan, too! 💖
Beautiful collection of dolls! I enjoyed seeing them!
Thank you so much. That is a replica that I painted myself. Thank you for watching my video!💕
@@CherishedDollFriendsyou did a beautiful job!
Thank you! I had a good teacher 🥰
What a lovely collection! Thank you so much for sharing!
You are so welcome! I appreciate you watching and your nice comment. 🤗
I love the Historical AG dolls so much, your collection is beautiful! I would love to add Rebecca one day. ❤

@@CherishedDollFriends I feel the same way! Rescued dolls are the most special ones

Your new in box Samantha is really cute, but she’s not from the early 90s. She’s an early 2000s girl and looks identical to one I got in 2004.

@@CherishedDollFriendsand 2008 was just a random identifier back then. She’s most likely a 2004-2006 Samantha.

Penny looks cute most of the time, but I didn't think the rear angle was very becoming for her. LOL
She's just saying how much she loves you. :D @@CherishedDollFriends
