I'm not a metal drummer, I play jazz and funk, but I find your model one of the best on the market. I like the thickness the length the tip and the finish. Very smart model. Well done! pity I can't find them anymore...
I love you Terrana. Your drumsticks are the best. I have a pair of yours. It’s very comfortable for rudiments and blast beats. Your sticks make my flying finger technique comfortable to blast super fast. Your sticks are the only comfortable sticks for paradiddles.
I've been playing drums since I was 12 years old, and now I am 31. I went through many sticks, and finally like almost ten years ago I found my sticks. Vic Firth sd1. They are thick marching kind of sticks but the maplewood gives me the touch that I need. I can play softly with these or hard, these works in every place from softer music to louder. You rock! Greetings from Finland!
Thanks for showing off the sticks and giving us the backstory on how you got them. I collect signature sticks so I just picked up 2 pair. I really enjoy your drumming and the channel so I'm glad to have a few pairs of your sticks.
Same. I thought thicker heads had more thump. Heavier sticks too. I now realize thinner heads have more resonant tone, lighter sticks are easier to throw around, and they won't break as easy as you might believe.
Mike, I do the same thing with the heavier stick in the left, and lighter in my right. I've been using Regal Tip since 1993, but they're having difficulties on fulfilling orders. So I've been searching for a new stick, and so far the 5A DoubleGlaze is looking like the winner. 55A, and 5B DoubleGlaze are nice too. With Regal Tip, I was using Groovers, which is like their 5A, or the Firth 55A. Thanks for sharing the story!
I still remember back when you lived in LA, you did a drum clinic with an all Brass Mapex kit, and gave my buddy a pair of your Truline sticks. I was so jealous. I guess my friend looked like he needed them more than me lol ...thanks for the memories Mike!
When you hit each other they already sound good, and people don't believe it, but good sticks help a lot to improve technique and execution, it's like a good cable on a guitar. Love it!!! 😍
Hi Mr. Terrana Sir🤘😝 I'm collecting Signature Sticks. I have your Drumsticks too. They are like the holy Grail in my Collection. Stay healthy and never Stop to Rock 🤘🤘🤘 You're a real Hero on the Drums... Have a nice day Sir 🤘😂👍
This are my favourite Sticks for my "Lady in Red". I use your Signature-Sticks and the Signature-Sticks from Abe Laboriel Jr., Your Sticks are Amazing, very hard Punch. I love it! Thank you for it! So much!
So… I received your signature sticks the other day and I must say I’m quite impressed. My go to stick has been the Neil Peart 747 which is front weighted and a little longer than than the regular 5A. I must say your stick feels really good and it’s almost the same length. I’m thinking about picking up a few more pairs and giving them a go. Thanks again Mike!
Great video! I'm running out of sticks. I'll see if I can get about 10 pair next weekend. Paul shut his doors and retired at Buffalo drum outlet. I'm sure he would want to say hello! So it's back to guitar center to play the barter game! Thxs mike!
🇧🇷 MIKE, sou do Brasil, deixo aqui meu registro. Sou baterista de uma banda militar, seu fã desde criança. E hoje um novo fã está te admirando a cada dia, meu filho de 4 anos. Ao invés de desenhos animados, ele pede para olhar os vídeos do Mister Mike!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Been playing Vic's for 20 years and I've been having the same problem because I hit too hard . Looking forward to hitting Sam Ash tomorrow . Let you know how I make out . By the way you have a long history as far as metal drummers in my life, thanks for the heads up
Nice thanks Mike, what are Your sticks dimensions? I been a Regal tip guy for a while, and since I can no longer get the models I play I been goin crazy looking @ different brands..I like a longer thinner acorn tipped kinda stick.. Currently settled with VF Freestyle 7a,lovem but still not perfect though..

Perfect drumstick for all styles of music.

I own a pair of your sig sticks. Very well balanced for sure.
Marko’s the guy! Knew him from 48th st NYC 👍🏼
That was a cool insight to the world of a working drummer. Must be great having your own custom tools for the job. Ill be sure to try them out 🤘🏻🥁

I'm just curious, when do you switch to a new pair of sticks? I find that once mine get worn enough they start losing their balance etc...

😎👍❤🇺🇸🥁🔥🎼 💣MIKE!!!
I Love T-Mac's "Edge of Insanity"
There isn't a week that goes by where I don't listen to it!
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Privet is TULA, 👍💪🤘🥁
🤜🤛🇧🇷
same with me - lighter stick goes to right hand, heavier - to the left.
Lol, Thomas Lang says just the opposite, using massive drumsticks
Single ply is all I play. More than 1 ply to me is muffling.
