i think its worth to note that the elmb mode performs much better with freesync disabled (despite the elmb sync feature). and with some tweaking i have gotten extremely clear alien blur test results, of course with brightness reduction
i had the problem that it would show pixels white and red on and off in the middle of the screen, then when i turned off the hdr it would sometimes come back but then it whould show a stripe in the middle, like for a sec, i have returned it today with all the possible test you can do for a monitor, like new cables, rest power 20 seconds, settings, checking the power points. but nothing chanced. and this is the second time i got a ASUS product that was faulty, the other one was a videocard that was DOA, but when asus works, it does shine!
So can I use the usb c port to power a usb hub for peripherals? Every review says it’s for optional display or charging phone but that’s as far as they explain.
you cant hear anything because you arent smart enough to know a computer monitor isnt a tv. sell all your gaming stuff, buy some books and fix yourself bro.

Yes, you can still use it as an option for the display. Just be sure it complies with the DP Alt functionality - www.asus.com/support/faq/1042843/
While using this monitor, I am seeing random horizontal white lines appearing out of no where, do you have a fix?

what preset you use in this monitor? im on racing preset looks bit dim

Junk. I bought one and returned it. It would blink on and off unless I turned on HDR and when I did that it had an ugly yellow tint.
You may have gotten just really unlucky because mine is fine and looks great

You can but the power output for that port is quite low so you might have issues connecting multiple devices to that hub.

It is. The monitor is calibrated quite well. Sure, there are "better" monitors for editing out there but this does the job.
