Excellent Content - and this applies to all types of Sim Racing - not just Iracing! I think Mindset is the most important especially when working up a new car or learning a new track. Your expectations in these situations should be lowered: expect to crash, spin out, miss braking points, etc. Don't be hard on yourself when learning! When I'm learning a new Track I literally drive around in low gear - note turns, possible braking points, physical markers, etc. Keep doing that to build muscle memory and then start increasing speed. You just have to put the time in.
Yep! That was indeed me sadly got into some trouble on lap 1 and had to tow back... But yeah, practicing at first seems very annoying, but with time you start enjoying it. One thing I do once I am comfortable with the track (though lap times are not good yet) is to go on races from the back and learn what others do - that taught me not only the better lines but also where I had more speed and might try a move later.
4:00 when you have them under de knie XD. Lots of people might get confused there, but it basically translates to: when you start to get the hang of it. Love the iRacing content, and of course: gas geven met dat hok! ;)
