@@sewstylewithGB i’m not tall but . My shoulder to waist is 15. And i wear the skirt starting from where the “shoulder to waist stops. so will it be ok to use 10/11” for the waist to hip?
@sewstylewithGB thank you , I'm cutting it now ..Fingers crossed it turns out fine ..I use this method ..On paper it was looking good though ....Also at the waist do I still eliminate zipper bulge... I'll be putting my zipper on the side not at the back
Thank you so much for this tutorial, I have a question which is, what if the person has a fat thighs, will this method work? because I tried it and it but the front part of the skirt was quite tight for me.
Hello thank you ,what if there's a big tummy ,can the same method work?
Why didn't you put it on or show us a customer rocking the style to make us really see how fitted the style is?
This is good...pls I have a question ❓ how did you attach the zipper after doing in sewing at the back skirt
Just follow the zipper allowance you've added

9 should be OK for you ma
10 to 11 is for people that are tall from their high waistline unless you have a low hip

It will give it a beautiful illusion at the center back
Please will this method be good for a long bustier pencil gown ?
Yes ma
please can you ignore dart on the front pattern?
@@IvyKrah
Yes ma
Pls ma'am why is the calculation for the hip in this video different from the other video. Which are we to follow
The first is standard
This video was made to simplified things for the people that complain about not getting the formulae in the first video.
New methods keep coming out every day forgetting that we have different body shapes
This method works with the different body shape ma
No matter the body shape you have, your back is bigger than your front
@imikanpeter6250
Yeah
Thank you ma
Good tutorial.
Please how do you calculate your hip point line without measuring it ?
Thank you
You can use 9 inches it works for most persons, but if the person is tall you can use 10 inches
please what if your skirt is high waist. can you make it 11”

Watch the video again
This is not underbutt contouring
It doesn't have anything to do with thigh.
Just your accurate measurement ma
I saw this method on Facebook too
Wow
That's beautiful
