This brought back memories of a Harley day I did about 19 years ago when Harley had a centre at Builth. We were guided around a lot of the roads you have been on and swapped different Harleys and. Buell or two. I’d have to do this again in the car as we have a Velcro dog ( cockapoo) who insists on being with us all the time!
My back yard, I live in Llandrindod Wells and do that run at least once a month on my 650XT 😁 Next time you must go to the visitor centre and you will learn how the dams were built including the flooding of the Elan village which was last exposed during the drought of 1976 I think when you could walk around the village.

That sounds great. It's such a lovely part of the country and we'll definitely be back to explore a little more.
