Yeah incase anybody didn't notice. The game has had some updates by now and plenty of units have been added and changed. If you are wondering why some units are missing and others are in questionable tiers. That's your answer.
If you wanna know when i'll make another tierlist. It will most likely between the releases chapter 3 or 4.

Similar to trowel’s use in this tier list is how I use hammer he can rank bare minimum 2 hits from a lot of things thanks to armor and if you use investment and get a high level you can support both trowel and hammer while keeping up with the back liners
Tried a battler+cannon run of chapter one. I lost track of how many levels i went "if only i could spam battler faster"
Also they updated the coil cannon when i was on level 19 3 stars. ;-;
tix collector maxxed is definitely S tier and its cash bonus can even be used in 3 starred levels, let alone the insanely OPness of it in 1 star
for 1 star, its very cheap and pays more than it sells for and it is enough to buy a whole $500 unit. for 2 star its still a decent price and is decent for the same units but can be used for cheap tanky units like boxer battler and trowel battler. for 3 star, its only good for upgrading bank asap.
The best strat for most stages is to instantly upgrade bank to lvl 1 and get tix collector and keep upgrading bank with its bonus, and for lengthy stages, it goes a long way
heck, this strat will work super well with 1 star deathbringer
tix collector is debatedly the second best unit in the game as of now
i got tix collectior as my first gacha unit

regen should honestly be higher than dual regen cus dual regen is suuuuuuuuper niche only good on stages with all heavy hitting enemys, and if the stage has kamikaze or bomb it’s not like it can time it correctly so it just dies, regen is better in general since it heals way more hp
Tumored should be a A tier for it's cheap and kind of a strong damage, though it is hard to get. Tumored is a battler pretty much cheaper and I think it's spammable.
Tarnished
Easily better than lil death and lil doom, I used to thought it would be just much worse. But after seeing the showcase by Elijah and seeing the stats at the The Battle Bricks wiki fandom or something, it made me changed my mind, like I said for now it is really hard to get, though the price it is REALLY CHEAP, it also has pretty much the same stats as lil death, its price is also the same as sword and brigand (on 1 star)

genuinely, this dude is way more talented then i thought unlike people like me and jaocob (no hate to jaocob hes also very good) but this dude deserves an lot of recognition with his editing skills, not to mention the tierlist is more then correct.
if you would try using lvl 10 soccer with lvl 10 dual speed spam (no other battlers) on rocket arena you will move soccer to d
im struggling with the level run and gun bud which is before the second boss because its pretty much a level check (i have decent units like paintballer its just that the enemies get spammed too much)

I'd say lil deathbringer be at least an A tier because you can heal him with medic/healer to full hp and he will still be in his rage mode.

So soccer also got better and is atleast C tier being reliable for bullying a target better then stunner IMO it will never let them move and things with a resistance to it like bosses it will be the same for stunner and it’s pretty good for rush hour coil chaos
Uber rare units such as dark reaper/lord skelly and intern elf/mall santa deserve an S tier.
Dark reaper has a huge damage and a very low cooldown, but what seals the deal is the kills and berserk mode. Dark reaper become immune to everything when he's about to die and dealing INSANE firerate and damage.
Lord skelly. Even he lacks berserker mode, he's very much worth it because he does splash damage when he reach 4 kills and he can summon bonefire, he also can summon bonehead upon death
Intern elf. Basically medic battler and sword battler combined. Every successful hit will heal intern elf and summon a present that heals everyone near it when he gets a kill
Mall santa. He seems to lack attack speed and regen but underestimate him too quickly because all of that was in exchange of a powerful explosion of his present. Instead of healing, it will explode upon contact dealing broken damage (500 damage for max level)

2:30 hoarder may be trash, but his normal counterpart hobo is quite better, because hobo is not just cheap as trowel, and he is more spamable as a battler
Horder will have more value once zombies come out due to zombies doing debuffs on death and horder being immune

There is an unit that i agree too much, it's in S tier, THE TROWEL BATTLER! Trower battler is way too good for the walls and i use it in every level!
By the way, somehow got ticks collector before beating doombringer and I got b money before beating to start doom bringer and death bringer
tbh, i wouldn't say wes is bad, it pretty much carried me on tumore classic 3 stars AND is used on 3 star deathbringer, there's probably more uses tho

soccer battler can sometimes cause your telemon to miss his attack making him stand there for 8 seconds not to mention he doesn't use his healing ability 💀
That's a good point. I've had enemy soccers save my units from stuff like titans before, although i can't say for sure how often it happens.
Knockback is nice, as long as your not praying for your, titian/tealamon,Lil doom, hammer/banhammer, paintball/sniper, coil/rail, ect, ect. To hit that one thing.

My tier list (outdated)
The Pinnacle (Hard carries):
Papaler, it's papaler
Tarnished battler, it's lil deathbringer with the price of a meatshield, only catches are that it has no rage form and its attack rate is halved
S tier (Carries):
Expo battler, from a decent but outclassed unit, to _mafia krip with splash damage_ , it has shredding capabilities only outperformed by stuff like a raiged lil deathbringer
Tumored battler, battler with 2x attack rate
Trowel battler, great waller, and just generally hard to break through without splash damage
Telamon battler, Titan battler, but with built in healing
Battler/Blonde battler, the poster child for the battle bricks, and it's justified because its a great meatshield, having the fastest recharge in the game and just being a good meatshield
Titan battler, deals great damage, has extremely high health, and has splash damage
Medic battler, healer, but splash damage
Tix collector, B money but is economically viable
Healer battler, increases the survivability of troops, however they are suicidal
A tier (Advised):
Mafia krip, Great dps and good range
Crocket battler, Rocket, but more splash damage
Grenade battler, Assassin battler and rocket battler had a baby, this was the result
Sheriff battler, counters ragester, 'nuff said
Coil battler, gamble battler, but consistent
Stunner battler, slinger, but it trades in half its dps for the ability to stun, from a cheap ranger to a support/ranger hybrid
Kamikaze battler, a near guaranteed chunk of extremely good damage, it's regular cannon, the unit
Slingshot battler, 60 dps for relatively cheap, only downside is range
Veteran papaler, despite never playing with him, from the footage available, he's pretty powerful
Dual speed, a fast rusher dealing good damage, its just good incarnate
Rocket battler, While outclassed, it still holds a candle to crocket
Raigquitter, hella expensive, but tears through backlines
Fireball battler, arson's cheaper cousin
Ignis battler, arson battler had a child with crocket, this is the result
Dual regen, can block powerful attacks, but can get baited.
Slateskin battler, provides defense to all that dont have it, makes the frail less so and the tanks even tankier
B tier (Somewhat niche):
Brigand battler, like sword battler, but spacer
Assassin battler, extremely good in end of beginning, and can hit backliners behind walls, like grenade battler, but less janky
Frigus battler, like iceball, but more
Lil Doombringer, high damage, is tankier than all but a ceramicafied ceramic battler, and titan battler, and has a death shockwave that can hit most backliners
Dual gravity battler, rocket battler if he was the projectile, can bait out titan attacks and has relatively high dps
Golden hammer, still probably better than its non golden counterparts
Binge brew, more extra-er damage-er
Speed battler, the poster child of rushers, while relatively expensive, it gets the job done
Arson battler, lights people on fire and deals a lot of damage
Sword battler, expensive for a meatshield, but it does good damage
Micspammer, expensive, but occasionally stuns the entire board
Hammer battler, A tank meatshield hybrid, albeit overpriced
Krip, cheap, high dps option, low range tho
Tomfoolery battler, probably better prankster battler
Brew battler, free extra damage
Megaphone battler, stuns people at a good rate
Vulcan battler, shreds tanks, but is expensive and its rev up rate is slow.
Paintballer, like a lil version of sniper, has the same dps but 20 less range (and cheaper too)
Prankster battler, stunner at home
Maxwell, expensive, but spawns meatshields.
Sniper battler, deals good damage, and tied for highest range in the game, a bit expensive tho
Golden banhammer, probably better than its ungolded variety, but more expensive
C tier (NIche):
Shanker battler, like you said, a lil version to lil deathbringer, worked better.
Boxer battler, it's in a weird limbo zone of being a mini tank and meatshield. Didnt fare too well
Luckroll, 3800 damage, basically bomb battler if russian roulette.
Lil deathbringer, plenty of glass and plenty of cannon, just in later stages of the game there's too much glass to use its incredible cannon
Rail battler, fires too slow and costs too much to be practical most of the time.
Ninja battler, fast close ranged ranger is not a niche you want to occupy, but it still does, and surprisingly isnt in low c - high d
Iceball battler, slows down stuff, but not significantly enough to justify bringing along most of the time
Gravity battler, mid, the unit. Doesnt really do good at anything yet isn't bad at most either.
Chairman, lil speedster, not as good as that premise sounds
Builder battler, if you can get past the initial building phase, it's a heckuva wall to beat down, just gets outperformed by trowel most of the time
Banhammer battler, Overpriced and doesnt even do its niche well enough, but it sucks to fight against
Ceramic battler, great resistance, just doesnt last long enough to use
Officer battler, it doesnt get to use its niche.
D tier (Very niche):
Regen battler, for its price tag it's underwhelming. It usually gets outdamaged and dies, good survivability tho
Hoarder battler, bucket battler tries to be a meatshield, fails.
Binge goala, Wait no, THIS is recoil cannon, the unit
Hobo battler, it's amazing what doubling the price can do to a unit's performance
Baller battler, doesn't ranger well enough, still does more dps than soccer battler tho
Goala battler, I lied about Wes, THIS is recoil cannon, the unit
Soccer battler, it still fills the ranger niche, albeit poorly
Wes, recoil cannon, the unit
Bomb battler, you better hope it goes off or else you just wasted 500 dollars, most of the time its the latter
Binge cola, Like cola, but more
Cola battler, slows stuff down but not much else. Most of the time you'd be fighting at your base.
F tier (Will not see day its used by guides, probably ever):
B. Money, if you can make use of it, your income will be great enough that you wont need b money
Gamble battler, it's inconsistent and the payout isnt even that high

ok I’m pissed whereby put soccer battler this man helped me beat death bringer 2 star and he was my only rang unit well I did have Vulcan but he was very hand to have to and a good meatshield for last phase my guy I would put him in c tier or maybe b cause he’s fun to use and is pretty good but no u gotta put in f I understand it’s your opinion but he’s very good if used right
Gambler and builder is a good beginner combo I first played yesterday on December 4th 2023
Trowel and titan/teloman is a S tier because they are the meat shield when medics spam op when 3 star ded but krip is the way def the titan and trowel

you can’t lie friend is like f or d tier (reason I said d aswell is because somehow he’s actually a weak meatshielder until max he’s a meat shielder combined with medic to and it’s fast speed and medic healing can make it the best meatshielder with medics (still worse than omega friend by a whole lot)

Dark reaper A - S+ tier Good unit has a cool berserk power that helps so much. Does big damage. Costs maybe much but thats not a problem. Very good for destroying problems.
Lord Skelly B - A tier does VERY good damage has BIG health to just a battler. Can spawn skeletons after death that has good health and can do maybe small but still good damage with their health.

I use DaVinci Resolve. It is free, and the free version is what i use to make my videos, there is also a paid version if you have 300$ to spare but the free version should provide you with more than enough tools to make good videos.
For me Horder battler is a b tier for me although having less health than battler and same damage

What exactly makes builder battle so much worse then it’s previous form?
His walls don't hold up once the difficulty cranks up. But that's also when you need the extra durability of builder's walls the most as opposed to troweler. But once again, his walls don't hold up at higher difficulties because they get destroyed before they can max out, so he's just a worse troweler.
