An actual "Squirrel!" moment at 19:30 haha. A good reminder about the widow makers for everyone. A guy was killed up in the BWCA last year when his group was seeking shelter from a storm that rolled in.
Love thegrittybowmen podcast..its playing on my phone every day lately thanks for all the content keep em comming. And btw its hilarious watching you watch your daughters climbing while podcasting hahaha
Sitka synthetic baselayer was a short lived experiment for me. Half a day of hiking and I stunk to high heaven. Might have to check out their outer layers though.
Stromdiddily couldn't agree with you more. Under Armor was another big waste of money for me. What was I thinking, sweated my head off and when i took off my outer shirt it felt like somebody hit me with a bucket of ice water
Try 70, you’ll find that you can still do it if you continue as you are now. Hunted 25 of the 30 day season in Colorado, (unit 79,where my cabin is)never got a shot. Then drove 28hrs back to SC. Shot 6bulls in 8yrs until this yr, keep the podcast coming ,buying a tut for next yr. hope to draw New Mexico plus hunt colo.
This is for both Brian and Aron, what brand of fish oil do you guys use? I found one I like but pretty expensive so looking for an alternative if I can find one.
Another great video from a couple of great guys. I agree below, and prefer the wild versus the couch setting. With respect to nutrition and supplements, my problem is different in that it's been difficult to maintain weight all of my life. I'm active in the hills and hunt deer and elk between 2500-6000 feet, preparing physically months in advance. I'm 45 years old, 6'2" and bounce around 170#. Any suggestions as to diet and supp's? Thanks in advance...
another killer podcast!! great insight on supplementation, the truth lies in the pudding when you train and eat right. people can nock it all they want but the results speak for themselves. I am like you Aron, I want to be doing this when I'm 60! by no means will diet and training gaurntee you kill bigger animals, haha but it makes it a heck of alot more enjoyable trying.
Aron...I love you so much...addressing the downsides of a supplement containing both Creatine and Caffeine together. :) A brand puppet you are not! #truthbombs P.S. I love you regardless, big boy. ;)

Awesome guy's
Use the salt deodorant. it's unscented so woods friendly
Aron, what tv show or movie did you play in?
what kind of coffee do you guys drink out there, and how do you prepare it?
The bit about the Mule Deer, escape routes, how and why they use the terrain, Awesome! More of that and less about what you're wearing would be great.
What ranger green pack is on the cover for this video?
Aron Snyder can I have one? Please and thank you!
hey guys, what's the knife looking blade stuck in the ground near Brian's boot?
Aron Snyder "Left at the campsite" seems to be the appropriate place for it then!
I think fire doesn't hurt anything, i never experienced a problem with hit.
Brian, you running Nevadas on this trip?
twilightkids ~ Yes. Been wearing them for most every trip since October. It's an excellent all around boot. Love it.
Yeah, I just picked up a pair of the uninsulated version. Like them a lot so far.
