35 years ago, when monster trucks were all independently owned and ran factory modified truck chassis! The bodies were actually truck bodies! Not the fiberglass covers they have today. Racing was pure racing and not the gimmick exhibition stuff of monster jam!
I was at the May 14th event Avila Speedway Avila "Ft Wayne" Indiana..... Everett didn't do well but plenty of excitement that night as Awesome Kong rolled over vs Jim Kramer & Bigfoot in the final!!
How can you not like this video...that was an awesome year. It was proof that somebody could finally catch the blue ford.
I was a huge Bigfoot fan as a kid but USA 1 was the only truck that could consistently challenge Bigfoot

Agreed, this was the absolute peak of monster truck racing

Awesome to watch. Got the new USA-1 brushless 1/8 scale.
Thank you so much for uploading this !!!
It’s 2024 y’all. I was a lil kid from the hood and I would get pissed if my school bus driver didn’t get me home by 3 to watch USA-1
I think what I heard over time that Everett was driving during the Indianapolis jamboree and broke I think a drive shaft or some sorts
