Yes, yes and YES. They nailed it. Such a tender and sweet moment. Writers must cower in fear of whoever wrote this part of the game. Never in my life have I been this invested in a fictional relationship.
This is ultimately my NUMBER ONE favorite moment in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. The most intimate moment where Cloud finally kisses the woman he will forever cherish... Tifa. I'm looking forward to the conclusion of VII whenever the producer sees fit. Cloud & Tifa truly deserve their happily ever after once Sephiroth and Shinra are gone forever.
Its finally happening folks.
We all know it happened from seeing FF7:AC(Advent Children), but yeah it's nice to see this happen in the "present".

So, nobody is gonna talk about the fact that *CloudXTifa* is the canon relationship in the new continuity? *I mean UNLIKE the original game?* The original's canon is followed by Advent Children. A movie in which Cloud is still simping after Aerith and mourning her years after her passing, while giving Tifa a cold shoulder. It happened guys, CloudXAeirth IS the old canon ship. But in this new one? The only date that has any real romance is Cloud and Tifa's. And I don't mean just the kiss, but the entire event. Cloud is enjoying her presence. Taking initiative. He's confessing, and so is she. Nothing like that happens with Aerith. (They're holding hands by the end, that's just called being polite to the girl that's throwing herself on ya) Or Yuffie, or others. Date with Aerith: "Have you talked to Tifa?" Date with Yuffie: "So, I hear you and Tifa are close". Date with Barret: "You got feelings for someone?" (I bet he also means Tifa, he's insinuating that since Remake), and the rest is him just goofing off with the guys. In other words, you've got options alright, but there really is only one canon romantic ship that is happening underneath all of those choices - and that's Cloud and Tifa. HELLO??!?
Because it is LIKE the original game + Advent Children. You just missed a lot between Cloud and Tifa there. It was much more difficult, and now they made it more simple
Cloud is not simping over aerith in advent children he is only mourning her and feels regret for failing to protect her. Him and tifa literally fuck in the OG game which wouldn't be the case if cloud only ever had feelings for aerith.
ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!?? I spent 2 goddamn games romancing the hell out of Aerith and all I get is her head resting on his shoulder but Tifa fans get to see her and Cloud kiss??? Fuck this game 0/10
That's fair. They should have gone for a cheeky kiss in the Aerith one too. It wouldn't even have looked that bad on cloud since Zack is dead (or at least it seems so/kinda).
Ich think you need to get the bond to 100% to get a kiss. There’s also a scene where you only hug Tifa so I think there could also be a seen where you kiss Aerith.
Im so frustrated. I really tried to push Tifa and Cloud with all my choices, but i never made any of the right choices apparently. It kept saing your relationship has changed, your relationship has deepened, your relationship has changed. When I made all the best/romantic choices I could see. In the end I git rhe cutscene with the dudes. It was the most underwhelming experience ever. Im so angry! FUCK THIS GAME! i dont even want to finish it anymore!
With me was only a hug and no kiss...
You didn't get enough bond points. You gotta do more of her side quests + use synergy attacks. After you finish the game there's chapter select so you can go back to do it.

@@Asigfacis You mean the ending of the game? I don't think there are different versions to the ending. But I can't be 100% sure though - only did ending with Tifa romance.
All you have to do is when your have those convos with the characters during each chapter make sure you choose the best answers and do all the side quests
@@GoOtS100 just watch the cutscenes back... taking sidequests etc that shit takes way to much time. when you are 18 years you don't mind. but when you get in your late 30 or older... you start to value time.. I play all games on easy or story mode aswell. Only elden ring not ofcourse... that wasnt possible and still completed it.
To be fair, he clearly had on his mind if Aerith still had feelings for Zach. I ship Aerith and Cloud better. The chemistry is just there.
