You can add onto the the raft behind the rudder. Which means all logs would be behind you when steering. Dev said anything beyond 2 - 3 sails is just cosmetic and capped at 130%. I use just two sails leaving the middle open to see and speed feels just the same as 3 plus I can see. Also beaching the raft makes loading very easy and it's super easy to push the raft back to sea. I enjoy your content so thank you for the entertainment.
Yeah, Dude! 👍👌 At about 14 : 35 or so. I *love* the encouragement effect of being at full for all of the meters! Seriously, that's actually pretty rare! I *definitely* agree with you about the anchor. This game definitely needs it for the rafts.
My feeling is barrels laid that way cause a lot of resistance against the water in moving, wear tires tend to bend water around them. Barrels might give you more lift out of the water tires sink.
The weight is definitely a big factor. I loaded up mine with sheet metal and barrels last night and it nearly sank, it was literally under water most of the time sailing back incredibly slowly.
should break the whole raft and start over. build 4 wide and add 4 sails then add 4 more to the front and add rudder in the middle of the raft. The sails should be behind you and the rudder. 100% visibility forward and sails are right behind you for lowering and raising. That should give you the max space available for storage. you can also put an awning over the rudder to stay dry and out of the sun.
If you find the crashed commercial jet, you can find the viking axe blueprint. It seems to not break down as of yet. Also I found the smoker blueprint there as well.
...These are the Voyages of he USS Logjammer. it's continuing mission: to seek out new trees and new long sticks. To boldly go where no Jaguar has gone before! Edit: inspired by @rosethompson5511 11:30 (no, he is not faster than a 50 MPH Jaguar or Leopard.)
Kage, I think you can insert mats into structure from a pretty long distance in this game. Point your crosshairs at structure from a distance and insert mats. Save some steps.
you left a few logs in the brush when you go back there you might want to move them to the sand just so you can find them easier since you now have your logging raft I'd just remove the holder off of the other one and it should go without saying to just leave the logs on the raft until you need to use them and once it's empty go on another log run lol I thought you already had a long stick holder near the water catchers but that might have been from before the game's official release
i stopped having sharks spawn. in fact i killed all the bitey creatures, every simgle one. now i can swim across to every island, and it only takes two hours in game time. largest log hauls so far 60. you're not trying kage848 ;)
I’m wondering if there’s a blueprint for larger sails for more speed because the ones you have now say small sail and I wonder why they made a point of calling them that instead of just calling it a sail.
Stuff is pretty hidden at times in this game. Considering you've missed 2 items and 1 note on your home island (at least compared to my game, i'm not sure if the spawns are random), i'm pretty sure you missed stuff on the lighthouse island too. 😁
@@vineousvondrake2456 yes, short of a few tapes, almost all spawns are random, and the blueprints that are not are almost always random blueprints anyway.
SS Lincoln Log? Question for anyone: What the trick to making silver ingots? I have made ten Bronze ones ok but two silver shards per ingot results in impure ingots every time (~20 ingots) (All my crafting levels are at 8) I thought it was rain but I cannot find anyway to get a furnace under a rainproof roof, I've built 3-4 furnaces trying it. I even tried waiting for a day with bright sun overhead but didn't work then either.
it deletes the building sockets when you delete building pieces/ghost images. so you cant snap to that building socket anymore, ive tried reloading. sucks ass for builds, you've been very fortunate so far idk how
I would imagine that the devs are busting their ass trying to fix everything in this game, and you want to actually bother them and ask them about how many sails you can put on a raft, and how fast you can make it go? Why don't you just do a test and find out? Make a video out of it. Come on bro.
Call it The USS Enterpise because it always started with the Captain's Log!
So clever!

Nice head shot on the leopard, Kage. I'd just make a new hammer on the islands I visit and leave it behind when I'm done. It's just a stick & a rock.

Call it The Turd Floater lol, or SS SKID MARK, or you could always go for the Minnow
you should call the raft the loggernaut
I can't tell these games apart anymore.
“Dirty little cat”? I hope Silvie was not within earshot!
The HMS logger ftw
Log tanker loving this game improving all the time

the blueprint locations are random they might not be in the same place for everyone

Push the raft to the left or right to line up the builds
Could you expand your garden to include every growable plant in the game you find? I think that would be the coolest flex!
Kage,
I think you can insert mats into structure from a pretty long distance in this game. Point your crosshairs at structure from a distance and insert mats. Save some steps.
@kage848 Pro tip: you can turn the raft by moving it and line up your items on it.
the barrels are transverse to the driving direction by default, thats a huge brake in realitiy :D

At 17:55, it somewhat looked like the forward foot mat in that plane, was a blueprint? Was really brief. Probably wrong.
The SS Kenny Loggings
i stopped having sharks spawn. in fact i killed all the bitey creatures, every simgle one. now i can swim across to every island, and it only takes two hours in game time.
largest log hauls so far 60. you're not trying kage848 ;)
GG! Double Axe 🎉
sadly none of those items (blueprint tools + weapons) can be placed at racks. hope they change that soon
Should call the log raft the SS Fitzgerald
I'd assume all the blueprint weapons and tools are probably unbreakable, like the jaguar spear and such.
I’m wondering if there’s a blueprint for larger sails for more speed because the ones you have now say small sail and I wonder why they made a point of calling them that instead of just calling it a sail.
You should build a roof top deck on your house. Lol.

yeah spawn locations are random some are fixed but a lot aren't
@@vineousvondrake2456 yes, short of a few tapes, almost all spawns are random, and the blueprints that are not are almost always random blueprints anyway.
I made a two level raft so things don't get washed off so easily. I also went into setup and removed the spiders
How? It doesn't let me build walls or floors
Biggest problem for me is losing my way back home visiting new islands, without a map i am directionally challenged
The Last Plague: Blight just release are you going to check it out
19:07 Dude you have a Dope Farm at home?? i wouldn't be advertising that bro, lol ;-) 🌱👽
Call it the logger
Name it the SS I Got Wood
KGE - TREELICE or WOODTICK
I don't think you have enough coconuts...
Anyone try the gold arrows you can find yet? Are they more powerful?
Don't call it a raft, call it a barque.(a kind of ship - pronounced 'bark'. Get it?). 🙂
Theres a page on the tree at 19:57
Is this the team that made stranded deep? looks way too similar
It’s not the size it’s the motion of the ocean 😅

I'm having the same problem, my main base has two walls missing because of it.
The raft name should be the logger
SS Wishy-Washy
I know when i built mt 2x5 raft with tent, storage, spin wheel, it drifted bad to one side... it sucked.
its a timber barge
The raft was born from timber. The KGE - TIMBERBORN
SS LogRunner

Ok everyone can forward their questions to you first so you can tell us which ones are important enough? Come on bro
Call your new raft the "Log Hauler"... A little prosaic, but it works. 🪵
USS Shiver Me Timber 😂 🛶 🪵
KGE - CHARLIEBARKIN
