Timothy Donaghue Hard to say, but with curves you only edit a few things. But to me the clone stamp is definitely more powerful, can fix blemishes, can fix tonal issue's can bring back detail in blown out area's, can get rid of distracting objects even.

Well, I agree it's the most powerful of the 'simple fix' tools. That said, there are definitely more powerful tools, the clone stamp being one.
When did the 'Targeted Adjustment tool' become the 'On image' tool? Using slang or colloquial terms can confuse users, IMO.
