    For the people who don't know, Aly Raisman is Jewish. That's why she chose this music to express herself ☺️
    Thanks to Aly, I'm less shy to show & express my origin.

    This version of Hava Nagila is the most beautiful, for me. And it was the one that gave this princess the gold.

    I love how everyone is all like "This is a Jewish song and I'm Christian, but I still love it." Um, maybe I'm missing something, but wasn't Christ called The King of the Jews? lol. If you're a Christian and have something against Judaism, you're denying part of your own religion. Just saying.

    • @jordynguse5150
      @jordynguse5150 5 лет назад +3

      ....... ....... I’d just like to point out they called him King of the Jews mocking him and believed he wasn’t actually the son of God. Not saying I have anything against Judaism, just saying they have very different beliefs from Christians.

    • @sarahcampola1570
      @sarahcampola1570 4 года назад +3

      @@jordynguse5150 they dont have VERY different beliefs from christians, lol 1. christ was jewish, 2. judaism was the foundation for christianity, 3. Faith-wise, christians are closer to judaism than any other religion (they also use the old testament.)

    • @harlieschmidt5945
      @harlieschmidt5945 4 года назад +2

      Sarah Campola as a Catholic myself, we, along with many other religions all believe in one common thing: Jesus. Whether or not He was Jewish, so many religions believe in Jesus Christ, and a couple use the Old Testament (e.g. Catholics and Christians and yes there’s a difference between the two). The religions that believe in Jesus Christ are close to Judaism because of that belief. Aly is Jewish and she used this song as floor music not just to represent her religious beliefs, but as a dedication to the innocent Israeli victims of the 1972 Munich Olympic Games Massacre

    Yekaterina Lobaznyuk of Russia is the queen of Hava Naglia (however you spell the song's name) but Ally is still an amazing gymnast either way.
