Hey man, Nice video! But your argument about PC prices is a bit flawed. You could spend a lot of money for a great experience, but in 2017 you will outperform consoles with even mid-hardware. Console games are getting lower settings over a console's life cycle, older PC builds have this too. If you really want to upgrade, your upgrade cost would be lower compared to a console upgrade. Most of the time the graphics card will be part that needs to be replaced to improve the experience. (if lowering the settings won't help, normally it's not that common.) for example: I used to play on an Asus GTX560 (Older graphics card from 2011, graphics comparable between Xbox360 and Xbox one), I can play a lot of games on 1080P 60 frames per second. However modern AAA games are taxing for this card, even if I lower my settings the best thing I could get is 45-60ish frames per seconds. (30fps is usually no problem, which most consoles games run on). I want to play my games on 60 fps, so in 2016 I bought a MSI GTX 970 (used from a friend) for $200. My other computer parts are still working fine, all from 2011! So I upgraded because I wanted to meet a certain standard, I could have played further on 30fps. Nowadays with mandatory paywalls like Playstation Plus and Xbox Live to play online. In the long run, those upgrade costs don't sound so high anymore. Again, nice video!
wesmoen thanks for your input. Yeah I kind of went hardcore all out on my Pc, not just for gaming but I made it so it can do A LOT but I may have over paid lol
Right but it's not actually free, because to get those free games you have to pay for a subscription. So technically you're still paying for those games.

Pc -gaming-awesome yeah basically every game with the slightest amount of hype for the switch costs 60 bucks, so its hard to get a lot of games compared to other systems.
Pc's aren't as expensive as you think. Entry level pc's are at the 600$ mark: A ryzen 5 2600, (120), an msi b450 tomahawk mobo (110), 16gb ddr4 3200mhz (70), An gtx 1650 super(170), A 60$ case and a 50$ psu, some fans and you're done. Thats a pretty good base build, and you should expect more 45fps ultra on all recent games @ 1080p, (except ultra demadning games such as dirt rally 2, then you would have to lower the settings.) If you have a slightly bigger budget you can upgrade your gpu (ie gtx 1660 super @ 230, rx 5600 xt @ 280, rtx 2060 @300, rtx 2060 super @ 400) to play at 1440p60fps, or 1080 90-144fps, or your cpu to a ryzen 5 3600 @ 200$ or a ryzen 7 3700 @ 300$ (anything above that is overkill)

I've found the best way to get into PC gaming is buying a custom configuration from somewhere like Novatech or Cyberpower PC. First off, they bulk buy parts, so generally you can come away a little cheaper with they EXACT spec you want for your budget. You also get a warranty, pared with the satisfaction that everything will be compatible and not faulty... Just my opinion
Pcs are cheap if you think practically.... how much would you invest in buying all the games for consoles in a year.. it'd make a price of a decent pc built ... in pcs games are far cheaper and you can buy sometimes 3 games with the price of 1 console game on pc
really, they both need a moniter so cross that out. ps4 pro 400 plus 60 for online. i can build a pc thatll run circles around the pro for $500 plus $70 for a decnt mouse and keyboard which if you get a second ps controller pretty much nullifies this and people pay $120-$200 for controllers that still arent as good as mouse and keyboard. then factor in the cheaper games and the much bigger library as well as the benefits of a pc and its clear. up until last year i was a huge ps fan
that is usually true, however it is an objective face that sales on steam are far more common then on xbox and PS4 and usually include quite a few AAA games. Also, prices usually lower over time on pc wearas on console they almost always stay the same. Also, PC players have acces to online more keystores then console which can also knock off a good £20 from the orriginal £60 price tag.
@MaxKnightPlays I thought you meant "yes a pc does not have to be more expensive then a console to outpreform it" oh dumb me i'll just delete my comment now

Elitists believe they are better for playing on better hardware. Any form of PC gaming is considered PCMR as long as you don't let yourself get ripped off, as the price scales with the performance and still grants you all the advantages that the open platform that the PC is has to offer. Perhaps the person who bought the GT1030 pre-dominantly loves 2D games or point and click adventures. It's about being a smart consumer. Unlike buying a PC, PS4 and Switch, in the event that you only play a few handful of exclusives on those platforms and had to buy this additional hardware that you technically already had in the form of the PC, that makes you a corporate slave more than anything.

(if lowering the settings won't help, normally it's not that common.)
for example: I used to play on an Asus GTX560 (Older graphics card from 2011, graphics comparable between Xbox360 and Xbox one), I can play a lot of games on 1080P 60 frames per second.
Macro what are your specs?
wesmoen Great to see someone who ACTUALLY knows his stuff! Thanks!
I say gold is worth it because of the 4 games up get monthly.
Right but it's not actually free, because to get those free games you have to pay for a subscription. So technically you're still paying for those games.

Bruh I haven't even thought what your name was. Marcos is a pretty dope name.
Thats a pretty good base build, and you should expect more 45fps ultra on all recent games @ 1080p, (except ultra demadning games such as dirt rally 2, then you would have to lower the settings.)
If you have a slightly bigger budget you can upgrade your gpu (ie gtx 1660 super @ 230, rx 5600 xt @ 280, rtx 2060 @300, rtx 2060 super @ 400) to play at 1440p60fps, or 1080 90-144fps, or your cpu to a ryzen 5 3600 @ 200$ or a ryzen 7 3700 @ 300$ (anything above that is overkill)
Honestly you're right on, but amd likes faster ram, and that mobo is capable of speeds up to 4133, so try to get atleast 3600mhz if possible
PDG_Panos - Sonic ryzen 5 1600 af is identical to the 2600 and it’s $85

Pcs are cheap if you think practically.... how much would you invest in buying all the games for consoles in a year.. it'd make a price of a decent pc built ... in pcs games are far cheaper and you can buy sometimes 3 games with the price of 1 console game on pc
+$60 a year
really, they both need a moniter so cross that out. ps4 pro 400 plus 60 for online. i can build a pc thatll run circles around the pro for $500 plus $70 for a decnt mouse and keyboard which if you get a second ps controller pretty much nullifies this and people pay $120-$200 for controllers that still arent as good as mouse and keyboard. then factor in the cheaper games and the much bigger library as well as the benefits of a pc and its clear. up until last year i was a huge ps fan
also you have to spend $60 a year on online. Thats like 2-3 triple A games! Talk about a waste of money!
that is usually true, however it is an objective face that sales on steam are far more common then on xbox and PS4 and usually include quite a few AAA games. Also, prices usually lower over time on pc wearas on console they almost always stay the same. Also, PC players have acces to online more keystores then console which can also knock off a good £20 from the orriginal £60 price tag.
And you could crack them and download them for free
A pc does NOT have to be more expensive than a console and certainly NOT $1000+ to outperform a console lets get that clear

A pc might cost 1000 dollars at first, but you then will upgrade your parts what are cheaper one at a time
@Kolovon yeah, sure. A 400$ PC will last about 1-2 years AND would overheat so fast you would have to spend 100$ more just for fans.
@@ok10469 nah not really if its overheating then check your fan see if it needs cleaning it not going to overheat if u keep it clean. And you can upgrade parts as u go and i doubt that its going to last only a year or 2. First rule of getting a pc is to never ever buy a pre built system, they are way over priced. Its better to build your own better specs for a cheaper price. And did u know that there is this thing called msi afterburner, guess what it does. It allows you to overclock and even adjust how fast you want your fans to go on your gpu

Console gamers: Play on a console but accept PC is better like a man.
PC Elitists: Says "pC mASteR RacE" everytime. Even if he/she has GT1030.
PC Gamers: Plays on a PC and don't call people "console peasant". Also accept consoles are pretty good, too.
PC/PS4/SWITCH Gamers: REAL MASTER RACE
Edit: I play on PS4. But I will build a R3 2200G PC.
