Out of all the english vocaloid covers, this one definitely sounds the best. It's hard to get them to sing in english, since they were made to sing in japanese, but she is very clear :)
It's amazing to have a bilingual vocaloid. Luka's more mature and defined voice is also outstanding when it comes to versatility in songs. This is an outstanding display of Luka's english voice pack. Please... for the sake of American fans who cannot understand Japanese... release more of these... I beg of you...
You can tell whoever did this worked really hard and paid super close detail to Lady Gaga's voice when they tried to get Luka to sing it. With a bit of fixing up on this version it could turn out great o.O
omg words cannot describe how much i love her voice in this! even how she says paparazzi!! its soooooooooo aweshum!!!!!!!!!!!!! not even that, its better than aweshum!
hmmmm at first I was unsure and im not the biggest fan of OMGaga or this style of music. But I found myself enjoying it alot and nodding my head to the song. great work :D
Now I'm one who likes to pride myself in saying that I'm Miku's biggest fan but Luka's got it going on with this cover! She seriously PWNED BIG TIME! Now that's special
@beezletron actually Luka is bilingual, so she really can sing in english, but, since the voice provider is japanese, she still have a japanese accent when singing in english.
@beezletron actually i heard her voice bank is bilingual *spelling* it can be both Japanese and English but its mostly Japanese that people use because if you listen close enough she doesn't pronounce her R's like L's
@nickgbruns The original Vocaloids were actually English and have 2500 voice clips (though in my opinion, you can still make a more-than-passable version using the 500 voice clips of Japanese Vocaloids). Miku is getting an English version as well which, as of last update, sounds incredibly convincing.
@PantherMarie88 Actually, Luka was programmed to be able to sing in English as well as Japanese, unlike many of the other Vocaloids, which are only limited to singing Japanese.
@Mattaadaeze If you think about it, Japanese is the easiest to make a Vocaloid for cause they only have 30 or so syllaules where as English has thousands.
@ninjagir165 Also to note, the person who did Luka's voice was Japanese, so just the way the English voicebank was pronounced was probably in a Japanese accent. But either way, even those who do an English Vocaloid still sound partially awkward because English is a hard language to imitate. But the same can be said for the Japanese Vocaloids--us as English speakers can't hear the unnatural sound of the pronounciation. (Assuming you're fluent in English.)
@LexJ0nas Luka was made to be a bilingual Vocaloid' Japanese and English; which is probably why her pronunciation is better then the others. Of course; it's possible to have the other Vocaloids sing in other languages; but they probably won't be able to sing as well as Luka xD
@TwisterKittyCat yes, yes she can. whether you understand it or not depends on the person. ...like ShimaGenki said, English has a lot of complicated pronounciations that's hard for the Japanese to imitate.
@splashdream14 Oh yep, you're right. I looked on the official site and she is programed for English and Japanese ^_^ She was still the first bilingual Vocaloid though (:
OMG is this made in 2009?? Holy moly you're so talented..!(sorry I can't english best well)
Of course you'll be my paparazzi Luka
@chicaanime11 it's not that. The ">" means who is better.
Luke is better than Gaga = Luka > Gaga.
Len is better than Bieber = Len > Bieber.
QQ.
i totally love this version i love the vocaloids and luka is one of my favorites :) thanx for the upload
Wow! This is one of the most fantastic videos were some one was actually able to make luka sound good while singing english! I just absolutly love it!
AWESOME! Glad to hear a really well done English version of a Vocaloid. :) Happy!
A really great use of her voice *-* I love it!

I can understand Luka more then the other English Vocaloids. Love to Luka.
Her voice is like... dry or something, it sounds odd. Still good, though.

i love how you can ACTUALLY TELL what she's saying in this. And HOLY CRAP, THIS OWNS GAGA'S VERSION!!!!!!
Out of all the english vocaloid covers, this one definitely sounds the best. It's hard to get them to sing in english, since they were made to sing in japanese, but she is very clear :)

When she says "Papa-RAH-zzi" it sounds so beautiful it makes me soul melt a little.
You can tell whoever did this worked really hard and paid super close detail to Lady Gaga's voice when they tried to get Luka to sing it. With a bit of fixing up on this version it could turn out great o.O
Percy: i wish luka could sing Be My Bad Boy T-T i'd kill to hear that

My favorite part is in 2:36 when she sings, "Real good, we dance in the studio"
When she sings "Real good," I like the way how she sings it! X3

Now I'm one who likes to pride myself in saying that I'm Miku's biggest fan but Luka's got it going on with this cover! She seriously PWNED BIG TIME! Now that's special

Maaan Luka, that was great!
This was the first Luka song I heard....Thank you, sir/madam
AMAZING!!!

Yay finally an English one that sounds good. It's a little weird, but at it's in tune and it doesn't sound overly robotic.
発音の綺麗さに驚いた(*゚▽゚*)
人が歌うよりも美しい!
完璧です!!!
Beautiful! (:
I need this program that is AWESOME
Haha, I'm working on Baby with Len right now ~
Officially the best English-singing Vocaloid!
Okay i think it's pretty well done. *thumbs up*
@beezletron actually Luka is bilingual, so she really can sing in english, but, since the voice provider is japanese, she still have a japanese accent when singing in english.
Ah. Thanks for the heads up :)
Wow luka's voice is so soft i love it
OMG!!!! Luka-san's voice here's so CUTE!!!!

The way she says 'eyeliner' is so cute =3
God, I love Luka
Luka just made the song epic as ever.
@beezletron actually i heard her voice bank is bilingual *spelling* it can be both Japanese and English but its mostly Japanese that people use because if you listen close enough she doesn't pronounce her R's like L's
Ah!! I love this SO much! lol XD It's really awsome. :p
@nickgbruns The original Vocaloids were actually English and have 2500 voice clips (though in my opinion, you can still make a more-than-passable version using the 500 voice clips of Japanese Vocaloids). it's very good! ;3
i wonder if lady gaga saw this yet XD
@PantherMarie88 Actually, Luka was programmed to be able to sing in English as well as Japanese, unlike many of the other Vocaloids, which are only limited to singing Japanese.
凄いだ!!
I like how she pronounces and sings the words that are longer. xD The way she says "I" and "so" are kinda abrupt at times. Well, VOCALOIDS ARE AWESOME
@TheBakaTsumi Have you ever heard of the Appends? I sure do hear some emotion in that.
@Mattaadaeze If you think about it, Japanese is the easiest to make a Vocaloid for cause they only have 30 or so syllaules where as English has thousands.
I luv this!!!!!
X3 so awesome.
OMG!!GREAT!!
@StrawberryCat3000 Kaito-Chris Brown ( There was a fight between Rihanna and Chris Brown )
@tzensen when Luka append comes out, will you please remake this? I love this so much! ^_^
awesomeness :DDD
this is why i love luka
Ohh.. nice voice, Luka! I like this version better.. xD
I had no idea she could sound like this, wow!
AWSOME!!!!!!!!! :D
This is the best english that luka has ever sung so far.
Love this song. Lady Gaga has made a cover of this :3
@beezletron
Although, she is considered bilingual. She has two voice banks, an English one and a Japanese one.
@terrixturmoil Not all of them Leon was a full english vocaloid lukas voice bank is BOTH english AND japanese
如果像vocaloid這類人聲合成軟體再繼續開發下去的話,
有許哪天真的用不到真人歌手了,
Luka真的唱得太好了>
@LexJ0nas Luka was made to be a bilingual Vocaloid' Japanese and English; which is probably why her pronunciation is better then the others. Of course; it's possible to have the other Vocaloids sing in other languages; but they probably won't be able to sing as well as Luka xD
@TwisterKittyCat yes, yes she can. whether you understand it or not depends on the person.
...like ShimaGenki said, English has a lot of complicated pronounciations that's hard for the Japanese to imitate.
@PantherMarie88 In fact, This "Luka Megurine" has two voice database, one is japanese and another is english.
omg i love this song!! she sounds so good singing this song. does anyone know where i can download this version of this song?
i kinda like it sounds good as it gets depper into the song!
@splashdream14 Oh yep, you're right. I looked on the official site and she is programed for English and Japanese ^_^ She was still the first bilingual Vocaloid though (:
@AnimeAki If you listen to when actual japanese people sing in english they have that little roughness as well because of their accent
@c0mfypil0w
It is a Japanese vocaloid named Megurine Luka. google it. it is a computer program.
i love the way she says "paparazzi"
@beezletron Actualy, Luka is the only vocaloid programed to sing in english
@WhereIsYao That's because some people prefer the wierder music, I quite enjoy both of them!
@PantherMarie88 Actually, Megurine Luka comes with an english voice bank.
Omigawd, who did the art? Chris who? Where can I find it? (spazzes) You're cover cover is great, btw!!! ^u^
