Ariana is good, but Kelly is GREAT. Notice Ariana got all pop songs that she has done impersonations of a million times. Kelly had pop, R&B, and country songs. Her versatility is unmatched.
Yeah 2012-2013 was her vocal peak i think. It was all so effortless for her. High register had no limit and sounded so great, no thinning out whatsoever. Those babies ruined her voice lol i mean she’s still the best we have tho lol but she’s lost some high part of her voice, the fluidity the clarity and the effortlessness arent the same now
She was good in 2012, but she's much better now. Her voice has developed and become stronger through the years. She's wise; she no longer attempts to add those shrill high notes in every song, saving them for special moments.

I think she’s better today. Her beautiful falsetto and head voice now is incredible and her low notes are rich
