In this video you will learn that "How to Add Fractions by Using the LCM Method | Addition of Fractions" by MathoGuide
To add fractions using the Least Common Multiple (LCM) method, follow these steps:
    1. Find the least common multiple (LCM) of the denominators of the fractions.
    2. Rewrite each fraction with the common denominator found in step 1.
    3. Add or subtract the numerators of the fractions, keeping the common denominator.
    4. Simplify the resulting fraction if possible.
    Let's illustrate with an example:
    Let's say we want to add 1/3 + 2/5
    1. Find the LCM of 3 and 5. The LCM of 3 and 5 is 15.
    2. Rewrite each fraction with the common denominator, which is 15:
    1/3 + 2/5= {(1×5) + (2×3)}/15
    1/3 + 2/5= 5/15+ 6/15
    1/3 + 2/5= 11/15
which is already in simplest form, so we're done.
That's how you add fractions using the LCM method.
