Your gentle guinea pigs, brings me such peacefulness. They sure enjoy their fruit, and vegetables. I've never had a ripe fig, I must try one now. The deer here, won't let the sunflowers go to seed, they eat the flower, and leave the stalk. I didn't think the stalk was eatable. We are being over run with coyotes at night, I learned it's their mating season, explains a lot. Their nightly calls can be bone chilling. Life does go on.
hello Collies Mom the coyotes don’t sound to good we had fox problems on another property with my new born lambs and chickens they can do a lot of damage the biggest problem here is sharks, they take a lot of people each year like you say life goes on thank you so much

I make a small salad for my two piggies and dump it all out at once. Then they eat a bite of one thing, a few bites of another, an entire baby carrot, and just roam through the salad until it’s all or mostly all gone! It would be a fun change up for just one day to see your piggies get all or most of their chopped food at one time! Then you’d watch them going back and forth and see who prefers what! It’s fun.

I never knew guinea pigs could eat melon and fig etc. My previous guinea pigs have had greens and apples, but am hoping to get more soon and will offer a more varied diet. Even a sunflower! Thankyou so much for these videos!!

Hey its granny, from pgh pa usa, do you pick them up and pet them? Mine are like yours hovering around and following me but they dont seem to like to be held much. I can scratch their necks and hand feed them and they chase after me when i am around them. Also , do you feed them sweet potatoes or yams??

Hi. Please help us move to a place to create a farm. In an apartment we can't stay with our guineea piggies. They need more space to roam. If I knew what to do... I'll go now. Want to go where they love pets... Here they dislike me or our pets. But the pets are innocent... Even if it smells a little... I clean up a lot... I give them grass, hay and veggies... Did everything for our pets. Cant believe someone could hate animals
yes all of the above cat are controlled and all micro chipped, big fines if your cat wanders all cat are desexed and very expensive, so there is no cat around at all . i am right in the city it a development sit I own , my little ones were on another property of mine but foxes came around and killed about 50 of my chickens one night so I move my little ones to where they are now, put the unite developed on hold Health and safety is always a concern, for us all and for the ones we care about

hi Bronwyn welcome the main problem is old age , they slow down and if it a boy he need room where he can relax and not have to fight so bits are the main injury, young boys sparring over who the boss but the girls seem good all the time but you don’t want older girls, having babies as then there are more health risks , I keep the boys and girls separate good food , room to exercise , not suffering from the cold and being able to cool off , and avoiding chemicals I grow most of there food so it is organic

the weather is summer is between mid 20s to mid 30s Celsius
winter mid teens to 20 plus Celsius
but when contracting up north of Australia for a while, when I come back is seems cool for a bit

Like corn , oats or even lettuce
And just feed them the whole tray

Hey its granny, from pgh pa usa, do you pick them up and pet them? Mine are like yours hovering around and following me but they dont seem to like to be held much. I can scratch their necks and hand feed them and they chase after me when i am around them. Also , do you feed them sweet potatoes or yams??

with so many it time , and when working around them some will
demand attention as you would know

Hi. Please help us move to a place to create a farm. In an apartment we can't stay with our guineea piggies. They need more space to roam. If I knew what to do... I'll go now.
Want to go where they love pets... Here they dislike me or our pets. But the pets are innocent... Even if it smells a little... I clean up a lot... I give them grass, hay and veggies... Did everything for our pets.

yes all of the above
cat are controlled and all micro chipped, big fines if your cat wanders
all cat are desexed and very expensive, so there is no cat around
at all . i am right in the city it a development sit I own , my little ones were on another property of mine but foxes came around and killed
about 50 of my chickens one night so I move my little ones to where they are now, put the unite developed on hold
Health and safety is always a concern, for us all and for the ones we care about
the grain is an organic mix with vitamin and minerals additive

the main problem is old age , they slow down and if it a boy he need
room where he can relax and not have to fight
so bits are the main injury, young boys sparring over who the boss
but the girls seem good all the time
but you don’t want older girls, having babies as then there are more health risks , I keep the boys and girls separate
good food , room to exercise , not suffering from the cold
and being able to cool off , and avoiding chemicals
I grow most of there food so it is organic

The ones I know of are business and the bottom line is what counts
They are just to bring life and happiness to my yard
for family and grandchildren
I don’t sell any but do give some away at different times, and have taken in some little ones in need of a home
The happiness and joy they generate is priceless

your watermellon is gorgeous ruby red [must be so sweet], in nz is barely pink... what do your neighbors think of all this?! Haha... Are they supportive? I love my guineas so much, but my husband DOESNT, and calls them "rats". I think they are somewhat like a minature capybara, in their appearance. except way more friendly and sweet! And way more talkative.

we clean up what not eaten as with the warm weather things go off
the chickens received a lot and scraps go in to compost
