- Mary lived happily in a two bedroom house in Rochdale, until the controversial bedroom tax was implemented. Unable to afford the additional costs, she was evicted and ended up homeless.
Like so many others, Mary was helped by the wonderful team at The Bond Board and is now rebuilding her life and spending quality time with her daughter.

The Bond Board is a registered charity that has an impact on homelessness and the well-being of homeless and vulnerable private rented sector households. They provide Bond Guarantees in lieu of a cash deposit for private rented tenancies, along with a range of holistic support services in 1-1 and group settings.
