Like, he lost to the main character, who canonically was starved and overworked as a miner, one of the most dangerous jobs in the world, for a month, and after he lost, he left the player with enough strength to carry a mortaly wounded Neviro wearing full knight armor down a mountain, escape the whole Ravenna fleet and hide in a remote island. In story, if the player was at peak condition, Calvus would unironicaly get low diffed.
Dude is also a fraud in terms of strength. He spent his entire life to get where he was and we did that in something like 1-2 months in canon (not counting stuff like being imprisoned)
The fact that King Calvus managed to successfully capture someone with a LITERAL SEA CURSE and lose to someone who doesn't even remember who they are is just sad 😔

Warren can fly just like a curse user, and uses inferno, which is one of the grand fire curses, there are more subtle hints that he might possess the inferno curse because he’s also a grand protector of azurea, and was a former important figure in the war seas. I personally think he oozes aura because he’s really mysterious and has an awesome character design

He ventures into the dark sea with his tiny ahh boat, RACING KING CALVUS to the curse to make sure a madman doesn't get the power of death. he alongside iris bust you out of prison and drops this line "I have a score to settle with Julian, he almost killed my last friend..." COLD! Iris even as new as she is to her anomolously gained (in the sense that its rare to get lost magic randomly as a kid) decides to melt an island owned by a large kingdom. Fights swarms of centurions and pirates for you and WIN. Oh? and I forgot she also helps you bust out of prison. Neviro.... My favorite to talk about to how much GODLY AURA HE HAS! No.1, He has inherited the darkness curse from his grandfather in the sense that calvus did to the apocalypse bringer curse from HIS grandfather. He was someone ridiculed by his family for not being a strong ice,water, or snow mage. though through ALL of this, he still trained hella hard to be a great spearmen, just like his grandfather. The same grandfather that fought off Nero (calvus's grand daddy) to save neviro's father, mother, and remaining siblings. Through hitchhiking in merchant ships and training in the sky islands he perseveres. He happens to help the player track down the order, eventually following iris to assist. not surprisingly iris tries to kill neviro by shooting HUGE flare radiation blasts. Our Chad PIERCES THROUGH THEM WITH HIS SPEAR. We don't know if Neviro has aura or imbued his weapon with his darkness stuff, but that's still pretty baller, especially if he did it with his base spear. Once him and iris dock at Ravenna they actually FIGHT. Neviro somehow doesn't die or sustain that many injuries. He still helps you bust out of prison, and knowing his weakness tries to confront calvus. (real mumen rider moment from one punch ong) idrc about the others placement, since they were honestly just fine for me. You made it go all over my screen again...
