Tbh I think gov themselves killed bsnl because when jio 4g was new I used to use bsnl 3g and speed where about 3 to 4 MB/s but suddenly after 2021-2022 it dropped its speed . I used to play pubg on it with no issues

Almost 1/10th of the towers across India. I travel a lot across the country. Therefore, I have all three of them, Jio, Airtel and BSNL. BSNL works hardly at across 10% of the places that I have visited while Airtel works in every city that I visted but Jio works almost everywhere across the nation.

Maine 2021 me bsnl 4g sim liya tha. Tab se ab tak 3-4 complaints aur tweets karne ke baad speed, connectivity aur calls me improvement hua hai.

I get 40 to 60 here in bhopal indoor - outdoor.... It depends on how crowded or not crowded the area is... Also plans are very confusing. Also call drops and cross connects are very common.

iirc till few years back, it was necessary to check the KYC document along with a physical check of the address, report back to the MSP and then only the sim / number was activated so as to stop unverified numbers which could be used in illegal activities. i still remember airtel & vodafone used to take 3-5 days in Lucknow city itself to activate numbers.

The gov and bsnl themselves are the reason for downfall of their time. I remember when i was kid, almost all adult were using bsnl sim. Their customer support is worst and they have ego as if they are IAS or something.. They need to be more responsible. Just because of these people everything is now on verge of privatisation..
The kind of service Jio , Airtel providing in package....BSNL can't match these private players. If they try to do BSNL plan would be more higher than jio, Airtel.
almost similar experiences were shared by me on some other channel but people are so much engrossed in the fact that whoever gives better price good for them and everything else like service does not matter

I live in Chandigarh and in the hospital jio vi network is very weak but BSNL works good so I use it as secondary sim and its fine.

I had recharge for one year for my two sim when jio and airtel price hiked. I will wait till bsnl improve the quality of network and this rush will be normalised.
I recharged a pack for 2gb/day but the daily data is not renewing. Called Customer care and waited for 15 minutes approx but didn't accept the call. I just wanted to know how the pack works If someone knows let me lnow.
Bsnl app ka interface aaj ka nahi pechle 3,4 se pehle bhi aisa hii tha.clean nd smooth easy to use.
Need to give a time for bsnl otherwise it will be too late for good competition... And we will suffer in the coming days..

I used BSNL for 1 year since 2022-2023 then switched to Airtel ( totally not happy now ). At that time i could get 100-900kbps in hand speed ( speed in byte per sec not bit), and at night 1-3 Mbps. Maybe because many people are porting now, speed have decreased.
Volte wasn't there so while calling i couldn't use internet, which was a big con for me at that time.
I was getting 3gb/day with unlimited data at night (12 - 6am), and other facilities for call& sms.

But Network is still in 2G and 3G. In Villages we get 2G, and in Towns and Cities we get 3G. But they have already issued 5G READY SIM's.

Near my home no bsnl tower is erected recently, but still i get 6-12mbps on 3G and after 4G launch which was around May 21, i have been getting mixed results, seldom speed reached 33mbps while other time it remained below 25mbps, i live in madhya pradesh, singrauli, and bsnl has only been the network that worked here properly, they are just getting started so many improvements are expected and i have used dsl broadband in the past while fibre is being currently in operation, BsNL has come a long way.

I had a very smooth experience of porting to BSNL SIM. I visited BSNL head office in Gurugram sector 18. The main gate guard guided me towards CSC counter inside the office. ( it's a huge office complex by the way). Got the sim by showing 2 photo ID and after 5 days the number got activated from JIo to BSNL. Did my first recharge of 107 from gpay app.
The proper activation takes approx 5 hours to complete. Next day morning I downloaded the BSNL self care app.
It's been 2 weeks now and Overall experience is super smooth. Actually there is absolutely no cLl dropes and super clear call clarity. Better than Jio.
Definitely would suggest everyone to keep at least one sim from BSNL.
Only draw back is for buying a SIM, one has to visit local BSNL exchange. You would not find local telecom shops selling BSNL sim like Jio or airtel.

@@Mandeep-8 yes boss. If you compare cost benefit ratio, I would say better than jio. I didn't felt any difference in call quality compared to jio. In fact in few places where I used to have difficulty with jio, there also BSNL perform well. You have to remember, 5G signal have a shorter reach compared to 2G, 3G or 4G. Ncoz BSNL is still 4G or mostly 3G, the signal penetration is much much better.

U.P East Zone mai BSNL accha chal raha hai mai Ghazipur district ke village mai rahta hun aur mere yha 4G network aa rahe hain aur speed 35-40 Mbps constant aa raha hai❤❤🎉🎉

Mai Andhra Pradesh se hu BSNL ki sim August 2024 ko li hai sim card liya tab se rorah ho😢😢 no internet speed ek Instragram ki reel dekhne liya 2 minutes ka time lag ta hai. BSNL ke picup me aur kafi time hai. Acha hua ke port nahi karvaya nai to 90 days ke liye phas gaya hota.
Hmare yha bade aram se sim mil jata hai

BSNL ka kuch nhi ho skta , my whole family was BSNL user till 2020, zabardasti sabko Jio me port karvaya 😅😅 , samne phone rakho vo full network me toh bhi bsnl incoming nhi aati thi Kai baar : "network uplabdh nhi hai" , "network kshetra se bahar hai" etc etc 😂 UP EAST circle experience , also experienced same in bhopal city 😢

Maine BSNL ka SIM Online order Kiya tha, next day mil gya tha, aur uske next day activate ho gya tha.
Aur mere area me Jio ka network bilkul bekar aata h, aur Airtel Vodafone ka thoda thik h, but BSNL ka network sabse achha aata h, internet chalane ke liye BSNL hi use karna padta h.

I ported my sim to BSNL this week and in Bangalore in my home I am getting 10mbps download and 4 mbps upload on 3G. No call drops.
In Panipat bsnl 3g tha tb bhi jio 4g s achi speed aati thi
Haan since feb jb se 4G launch hua thodi dikkat jarur hai may be on trial basis.

Please ask local MLA MP to take it up with government for working into improving BSNL
BSNL is practically a government company and the government was actually trying to sell it instead of improving it but due to current Loksabha results they have changed the mood.
If BSNL improves, it's to the benefit of all... However high the rates of private Telcos rise, BSNL's will be like government bus ticket or always lesser..... hence!
Pune mein no 4g for bsnl only 3g is available n the speed is horrible
