Wow history of Latin Music in NYC annotated with some incredible performances ,and the Fort Apache flavor throughout. Andy Gonzalez on Bass , Steve Berrios on Drumset and Timbales, and I love Jerry's concept of multi Percussion on the Tumbadoras, how he incorporates the Quinto into the music , really mixing Rumba into Latin Jazz. Blessings and Love, Praise and Gratitude!
Very nice,my brother plays congas and I play drums ,but he use to give me the big conga, that is called the Tumbadora and he start playing the Quinto, some times for a hour and that was very nice because he thought me all I know today about afrocuban and latin stiles,.love this video,God bless.
God bless you Nestor!!! I've been trying to get this out of print VHS tape for years now!!! I've been wanting to watch this while I practice on my new conga. You made this a dream come true! Thanks for sharing mi hermano!!!!
