Hi Mark, tried this game today with a group of high school educators. I had five teams of five, and they had a shared file of resources for the paper. It was so much fun, and the teachers really enjoyed the ability to be creative. I think that might change up the way I play next time a little bit so that in that 7-minute window or maybe just 5 minutes window they can call me over to look at their account at any time and then if they want to take a second shot or a third shot from there they can just a thought I used it as a competitive, scored activity but I loved it and I'm definitely on it again
Once again Jen, thanks for sharing. Yes, I like the idea of popping in and out of groups to review their success. Maybe provide multiple opportunities for each team to record a PB...
I can definitely use this! Thank you for sharing. I am wondering how you debrief this. Have you seen applications beyond creative thinking? I'd like to apply this to a new manager training or to management skills in some way. Thanks again :)
I do not know why yo stopped playing games or energizers, i think that you have excellent resources and games and I hope more games. by the way, great job.
This past year has been difficult because we have been unable to meet in-person, so the production of training videos has stopped,. But we have been very busy creating wonderful online or virtual experiences for groups. Click the Virtual tab on our activity search tool - www.playmeo.com/activities/
We can see and recognize about the playing skills. There are some playing activities we have not mentioned before with include with playing with the paper. It is interesting how people gather up as a team and playing the paper.
great stuff! I am having a dinner at a public restaurant with about 20 people. what can we play while not getting up from our table? i think the lateral thinking "come to my party" is a fun easy exercise we can do without needing to get up.
Yep, this activity would be perfect for you. If you pop into playmeo.com, you can also try Antlers, One Duck, Veggie Veggie, Bang Youre Dead, and PDQ Test

I don't feel comfortable in such an activity in a workplace settings. In my opinion this is a suitable activity for a group of family members, good friends or army unit, but not in the workplace.
Thanks for your comment Keren. I can understand your concern but do keep in mind, that an activity like this is only ever recommended as part of a well-sequenced program of activities which gradually builds the trust of its group members. For this particular group, this exercise was presented towards the end of a full day of activities (and they were all new to each other at the start of the day.) I have used it with groups from a workplace setting (not to mention with many other groups) many times with great success.
@@playmeo-group-games I can see your point of view. If I was a summer camp instructor I would have used this for sure! It's a great activity to built team work and bond over some good laughs. For work I'll stick with safer activities, ones that don't trigger or violate people's personal space and body.
Thanks for sharing Tori. in my experience, every group approaches the problem with a different solution, and in many cases, do not touch at all. No matter the time period or century you may be presenting this exercise, you must always present it sensitive to the needs of your group. If you don't think your group is ready for this type of challenge, then you have two choices - prepare them appropriately, or don't do it. Have fun.
Thanks for asking Claudia, it's a question every group facilitator shoudl be asking themselves before they launch into any presentation. In this instance, Paper Holding is all about inspiring creativity and inviting small teams to develop their communication and collaboration skills. And fun is the magnet that pulls it all together

Yuna Hammond Musuka thank you for commenting. Most reflections involve standard team work elements, but especially creativity and critical thinking

Fantastic idea!!
Glad you enjoyed the activity. If you lead groups, please let us know how it goes...
Lovely game ❤
👍 👍 😀
Nice one..
Thanks. What did you like about this video?
this is good but maybe as a second or third day activity when folks know each other a bit more
That may be appropriate for some groups. Always sequence your activities to suit the needs and abilities of your group
very nice games for team work
That's right, all of playmeo's activities are designed to help people connect 😀
What are the possible questions to be ask after the activity?

This is awesome activity for my student in junior high 😂
Yes, it is one of my favourites too. Thanks for commenting :-)
Brilliant!!
Paper cuts… and they hurt too..
True, paper cuts are not nice, but I have never seen this occur in this group initative (so far)
Too much touching and rubbing body parts together for modern times.

Agreed. Nice idea, but can't use it in most work environments. Maybe as an ice breaker with family and/or friends.
HR nightmare
Great way to be sued in California!
And the point of this exercise is…?

omg ... no way
Yep, it's real :-)
