The truth of all this is that the servers got connection issues (the drivers have nothing to do), many people in several splits got kicked out of the server when this happened
I am pretty sure he also didn't want to be this guy. But if iRacing chose you to have a bad connection, there is nothing you could do. It appears randomly in this stint. Every other connection was stable (Discord, speed tests etc), it was just his upload to iRacing. So please don't blame other people if you don't know what you are talking about, just to get some more clicks.
You are responsible for your connection, you can see you have a bad connection by pressing F, it is reportable issue and was a fat 25% chance he could've whacked max. I'm pretty sure iRacing doesn't choose people to be lagged... I'm not saying there's anything the driver could do, but still, don't be this guy.
I like Jack but currently he is just piling on the Max Verstappen videos as he has worked out that’s his golden ticket to views. Plus he’s a fanboy 😅 From a Hamilton fan
@WittyGooseRacing dead right, I know I missed him racing at the Daytona cus I was away, and I loved seeing all the snippits so judging from the audience reaction, people really really wanted to see it. When you make content you identify what the audience want, and just deliver. But your right lol, make hay while the sun shines.
From your number one, pull the other one if this a ban offence. It’s virtual racing, I don’t really know how you can avoid this if you sincerely don’t know. We shouldn’t have to roll out the red carpet for Max.
Having an unstable connection is not a bannable offense at all. iRacing simply reserves the right to disconnect you from a session if your connection impedes on other drivers.
I make sure my connection is good before I play long events or even normal ones. I reset my router before hand all routers work best after a good restart. Then I check my latency its usually around 12ms which is fine and I'm getting around 1gb so 1000mbps speeds. I'm def not giving anybody an issue and I always have the best play without issues.
@@reviewforthetube6485 It’s not only servers, your provider can have issues and many carriers in the path can have issues, you only have control over what’s in your house. You geo location matters, the country’s infrastructure matters, so many factors and variables
I think the driver didn't anything wrong, sometimes you might not be aware of you're blinking, sometimes everything is right for you because you have problems uploading packages and not downloading them. In my opinion if something go wrong the blame is in the service not in the driver. In the case of you're blinking it might be temporary, so what you should do? stop your 24h race because a temporary blink? is hard to ask for it to a driver and a team that has prepared a race some weeks before.
I'm not going to claim to know how to get on top of this connection thing but you're really reaching if you're insinuating this guy was doing this on purpose. Is he reaching over to his router and rapidly switching it on and off as soon as he sees Verstappen on his relative?
Oh , no but when you press F in iRacing, there is a bar dedicated to weather or not your losing packets, if your Internet drops, or is dropping you'll be able to see. So ideally you won't be surprised if someone makes a complaint or you get a "random" 4x. Ideally he would pit so he doesn't drop out and have to tow, or lose the car to the wall.
He did tho, he couldve disappeared then reappeared inside of max, *giggidy* lol... Anyway that wouldve caused him to crash out. A blinking car on iRacing is the most dangerous thing next to a blind racer.
@@JACKZERYT Imma iracer too so I know this stuff but that title is far fetched. He might have crashed out but he wasn't even close, let's put it this way.

Its nothing new though, its been a feature on iRacing for more than a decade and it certainly is not ban able.

If you're on dial up get off the race.
Can't believe this happens on a 24 hour race. Absolutely insane.
He was almost taken out turn one and another incident where he had to avoid a car spinning
That was centimeters from disaster at t7 on lap one, what a close call
Do you have clip of that too

Yep, Dublin :)
