FYI, use a hand press to push bearings and sleeve, not hammer.
Correct rough work. And a center case packing is not used. It comes with local supply. As per specification only bond is applied for Crank case for Rx 100. Overall ok.

Spray panting a cylinder and head and engine casings. Will heat up the engine more the when not sprayed. Heat is every engines enemy
Correct step but the way you add the ring glasket and head glasket is not proper at all. First put glasket perfectly and then the head cap. Honestly it will leak engine oil in few weeks if you make like that. And you know most of them were change New Parts. So, If i were the owner i would advise that or ask to desemble all and resemble from the beginning again for wasting my new part. So try to satisfied for your customers too but not namesake fast done. Iam mechanical too. If you made like this the bike will not last long.
Even the kicker rachet flywheel was fitted upside down.
That clutch bell belongs to rx 100 or rx135?.Hope you changed the cluch housing of rx100 to 135.Is it correct?

Eran mas comunes en Venezuela, o puede conseguir partes de la RD125 en Brasil que es casi la misma. O la RX100-115-135, RXZ135 en Colombia o Venezuela, depende que necesita.

There is no timing chain in 2 stroke engine s,
Why was the crankcase,block and head painted and why is there no torque wrenches used when rebuilding the engine ?
This is not the right the way to rebuild any engine. The paint on the head and block will crack and come off due to heat from the running engine very soon and it will look ugly.
Lack of torque wrenches mean all the bolts are highly likely to be overtightened and its not a good thing for engine life and future rebuilding.
Most bike engines come from the factory painted, like your TVS or RXG, of course a high termperature resistant paint should be used, though most likely it wasn't on this video. No torque wrenches because specialized tools are expensive and cheap mechanics normally don't see it as something that is a must, it's funny you ask this kind of questions since from your videos... clearly you aren't from a rich country, sounds like you have never looked for a shop to cheaply fix your bikes. I do agree with you in the sense that really it's not the best way to rebuild an engine, but again.... you know how it is. By the way... your RX is pretty slow, if you don't like speed... cool, but there's a video in which you revved it in 1st and 2nd and it's clear the bike won't even go up to 10K RPM as it should from the factory, if you need a hand to make it faster just let me know.
@@cristianr3712 Yes, But the crankcase is not painted at the factory & should not be painted. Only the block,head and engine L&R covers are painted. Yes, my country is not very rich and yes, like you said, these tools are very expensive, but it is essential to use such tools to build the engine properly as close as possible to factory specs for long life of the parts.
My RX is slow, yes because the RXG was the more restricted model from Yamaha as they were targetting better fuel efficiency, but from a 2 stroke engines, so the exhaust ports are small, unlike the 135 5 speed which had larger exhaust ports,more compression and carb with oval venturi too,Again this is nothing compared to the RX-King or the RD135.
I don't think a 4 speed 135 can rev up to 10,000RPM from the factory. due to it's small exhaust ports. But I'm completely fine with it's performance as of now, thanks for the offer :)
@@BrattyBiker Give me a good reason why it should not be painted, black helps heat transfer hence helping cool the crankcase and gearbox, that is a great reason of why many manufacturers actually paint engines black, including the crankcase. Factory specs are not always the best, remember the designers of the engine and the bike had a lot of customers to please while getting good looks, performance, reliability, economy, and of course... a good profit, don't think always factory is best, it rarely is. Wait, yours is 135? really? I thought it was a 100cc and a pretty slow one by the way, well anyways even for a bike that is supposed to be fuel efficient, it doesn't sound clean, either the exhaust pipe is clogged, or it is using a ton of fuel more than it actually needs or the compression is pretty low, or most likely several of the mentioned. Now that you mention how things should be done.... you should take a look at your RX engine.
@@cristianr3712 Well, that you'll have to ask Yamaha themselves on why they didn't paint the crankcase but painted the head,covers and the engine block,.
Most of the times, factory specs are the best when it comes to achieving the perfect balance between performance,quality,reliability,efficiency.etc. along with manufacturing feasability & profit. It's not 'rarely' is. Most of the time, it is. These things are done with lakhs if not crores of money for engineering R&D along with highly qualified engineers and state of the art manufacturing facilities. It's not realistic to think that they are 'rarely' the best.
Yes, my engine is pretty old, but running perfectly fine. I am running it a wee bit richer so that it runs a bit cooler, also not using oil pump so oil supply is static.
Hence,I don't want to fix it when it's not broken. I will be rebuilding the entire engine later when it is time.
@@BrattyBiker The fact that a cheap commuter bike like the RX didn't get a painted crankcase is not exactly to improve performance, would be more to improve profits, just check one of the best Yamahas at the time of design of the RX, Kenny Roberts Factory Yamaha TZ750 race bike had black crankcase, so I guess this argument is settled.
Not necessarily the best, if that was the case then when Honda made their RS125 they would have used the same design Jan Thiel used in the Aprilia RSA125 that was actually faster due to a better engine design, so... That was the best "balance" the manufacturer could achieve at the moment with your bike, it's your decision to keep it like that or actually improve it, i.e. a better designed head will get you more compression without knock, hence better fuel economy or more power depending on your needs, so again.... Not the best.
Nobody is saying you need to rebuild the engine, what you need is a proper mechanic, I'm not saying the engine is broken, it's just that it is running very far from what it should in factory conditions.
I know a ton of people who race RX at tracks during several laps pushing them very hard, not even those engines sound as bogged as yours, you don't need that much fuel, given the soft use you give it.... Premix 40:1 if you are using good oil or just 30:1 if you are using very very crappy oil, that's it, that's more than you'll ever need at the speeds you drive, plus you'll be saving fuel.
About the engine rebuild, again, no need to rebuild, just clean the pipe, get new rings for the piston, not new piston, just the rings, get it to someone who can tune that carb properly and that's it, you'll see it's more fuel efficient and not so slow.
You come to the comments to complain about the crappy cheap work this youtuber is doing with the RX, but you are really on the same boat he is.
