    Oh my goodness! I got a little emotional watching your last NY video! And you will definitely have readers of your book! I would love to 'test knit' it for you ;-) Your energy and emotional commitment to this book is so exciting to see - and to feel like I have front row seats during it's creation. Can NOT wait to see the next video and the next chapter of your adventure.

      Thank you!! It's so touching when people appreciate updates on the book, I will definitely keep talking about it in my videos (: And I'm looking forward to have it in proper shape to send it out to test readers some day (:

    I also like knitting from charts, crocheting even more, because the stitches in the pattern appear so similar to those in the fabric. I guess you would like japanese knitting instructions as they're mostly charted and you don't actually need to understand japanese to read them.
    It is great to hear about the draft of your book. Enjoy!
    And, of course, thanks for sharing your knitting adventures. I wish you a smooth transtion to the new place.

      Thank you so much ! I’ve heard about this Japanese lace stitch bible or so, but I have yet to check that out. But I’ll definitely need to do more chart knitting ! I feel it’s also so satisfying because you can tick off the rows and progress feels more tangible

    I am super converted to knitting ribbing inside out too! Mohair combos are still a nightmare but everything else turns out so tidy!

    • @pagesandpurls
      @pagesandpurls  Год назад

      Ohh that's good to know, I might skip it for Mohair combos then. Do you do it the same way, like turning for a German short row , or is there another trick to it?

    • @ghostpuff
      @ghostpuff Год назад

      @@pagesandpurls yea I keep to the German short row method myself! I just make the point to tighten it real hard but its still somewhat noticeable haha :DD

    • @pagesandpurls
      @pagesandpurls  Год назад

      @@ghostpuff I tried that too, but oh well... I guess we just have to place it conveniently so the GSR stitch isn't too noticeable (:

      Gladly (: And same here, it's such a beautiful colour. Do you have any ideas what colour you'd want to make the twist loops top in?

      @@pagesandpurls I actually ended up finding some discounted knitting for olive in the color wild berries at my LYS this weekend so I think I'll make a twist loops top in the nice pink color in the spring 😊. Also I wanted to say congratulations on finishing your 2nd draft of your book! What an accomplishment

    Did you have to ship furniture etc. to the UK?

    • @pagesandpurls
      @pagesandpurls  Год назад +1

      We had to ship some of our belongings (clothes, etc) but no furniture, luckily. We didn’t have much furniture to begin with, but sold everything before we left, as it was easier that way
