@@pamelasmitley3712 it's true Scripture says His church isn't appointed to wrath but says nothing about a rescue. It does say that those who keep His commandments, which is also the law, will be protected. Every pretrib believer I've seen also believe that God's laws has been done away with, nailed to the cross, been fulfilled, or whatever. The law that was against us, the penalty of death for breaking the law, which is sin, was fulfilled but the rest still stand. If there was was no law, there will be no law to transgress, therefore, there is no sin. The key word here is to repent. Repent from what? Christ's fulfillment of that law doesn't mean we are automatically forgiven. In Matthew 7:21-23, there are believers who are rejected from entering the Kingdom of heaven because they were lawless. Read Scripture for what it says without applying what you've been taught and no picking and choosing verses. Scripture does not contradict itself. I used to believe pretrib and other teachings and I would find Scripture contradicting itself. It turns out that it wasn't Scripture that was contradicting itself, it was my belief from what I was taught that contradicted Scripture. The believers who keep His commandments will be protected and those who do not will have to do it the hard way, like get killed. Since they are already deceived, it wouldn't be that hard for them to be deceived into satan's power. I often hear people say that they will not take the mark of the beast and I hope they don't but remember Peter said he wouldn't deny Jesus yet he did three times. Scripture says that the rapture comes at the end so get ready, don't expect a free ride out of here.

If you’ve accepted Him in your heart as Lord and Savior, you are saved and will be with Him in heaven. There is no striving to be “good enough” with Him because He has called us to just abide in Him (John 15:4)and love Him/our neighbors. We aren’t called to be perfect or good enough, we’re called to be followers of Christ :) the devil wants us to believe we have to be good enough or keep up an image for Jesus to accept us, but he already has!!! He already died specifically for you! You are so significant and important to Him Jp!!
As lo g as you have honestly accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour of your life, you are “worthy” as His blood that gets us into Heaven. No one deserves heaven or living with God but that is the very reason Jesus came to die for us, so that we would be able to have communion with our God and live with Him forever and ever. Don’t ever think that you are not worthy because Jesus gives us our worth.
JP, none of us can be good enough to get into Heaven. You only have to believe that Jesus Christ already paid the price for all of our sins, past, present and future. Read and believe 1 Corinthians 15: 1-4 this is the Gospel. God offers eternal salvation to us as a gift; read Ephesians 2: 8-9. My own boyfriend is a nonbeliever and it’s heartbreaking to think of the evil that will befall him if he doesn’t accept Christ soon, but I have faith that he will change for the better. What has always amazed me about the people in Noahs day was how could they possibly not have noticed the animals boarding the ark without being caged or trapped somehow. I think my lightbulb would have lit up big-time. They were blinded I'm sure.

My own boyfriend is a nonbeliever and it’s heartbreaking to think of the evil that will befall him if he doesn’t accept Christ soon, but I have faith that he will change for the better. I’ve been trying to plant the seed for months but I need Jesus to provide a completely change of heart so that he can be saved. please please please pray for him 💖

The fact that some folk are praying for him will just mean the Holy Spirit will work just that little bit harder to get him Saved for all eternity. Jump!” As I let go and jumped, the incredible joy I felt as I flew upward still stays with me after 3 years!! The living voice said,” Sing Susie sing!” As I flew upward, I sang with in an unknown tongue with notes I could never reach on earth! The dream was so full of colors and emotion! Glorious!

@Chris Toscano You are wrong. The Rapture of the Church will precede the Tribulation. Think if the rapture was to occur after the tribulation and the saints in heaven cannot reproduce so where would the children in the 1000 year reign of Christ come from.
Whether you believe Jesus is coming back pre-trib, mid-trib or post-trib, does not matter, if you have accepted Him as your Savior. Stop arguing about a moot point all you self appointed theologians!
@Chris Toscano Want to know what tells me YOU don't know Jesus Christ? You just told someone they will burn in hell for believing the pre tribulation rapture is the truth. So, you're denying the gospel of Christ RIGHT THERE. We are SAVED when we believe on Christ's finished redemptive work on the cross. Our salvation has nothing to do with what we believe about the rapture or anything else outside the gospel. Salvation is based on our faith in Christ, PERIOD. Time is short. Jesus is coming for His Church. You don't want to be here for what's coming upon this earth and all unbelievers. REPENT and believe the gospel of Grace.
Everyone goes through the tribulation. Believers (Messianic Jews and Gentiles) and unbelievers. Those who don’t receive the mark of the beast are those who keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus. (Take a look at # 4, the 7th day Sabbath). The final call in Rev 14- a call to worship the creator-his day and his way. Those who keep the commandments and have the faith of Jesus will be protected, just like the Israelites during the plagues of Egypt and Noah and his family in the ark. They are preserved while others die and suffer. We will go through but will be saved and protected. Then Jesus comes. Those who are alive and remain will be caught up to meet Him in the air at the same time as the resurrected saints/ dead believers awaiting the resurrection... and we will go to heaven and live and reign 1000 years. Then return to earth with Jesus and the New Jerusalem. Then there is a second resurrection-the wicked dead. They rise up to take the city but are destroyed by fire. And then the whole earth is cleansed by fire and all things are made new. New heaven and new earth. No sin, death, etc.
Jesus is coming. But have you realized from reading what Most High told Abraham, that in him and in his seed, all the nations of the Earth will be blessed, that the Most High is interested in diversity?
Could I humbly suggest, Compare Jesus Glorious return at the end of the apocalyptic seals, bowls, Trumpets, third of all life destroyed, wormwood, plagues, boils etc etc with Jesus saying "just as in the times of Noah and Lot" . Normal everyday life! Does that sound like the end of Armageddon? Clearly He is speaking of two events. There's no way these two, the rapture, as a" thief in the night" and His glorious return are the same. People definitely won't be giving and taking in marriage and trading as normal on the day of His return. They'll be struggling to survive. Jesus said, "that time will be cut short for the elects sake or else no one would survive it." (The elect are the 144,000 Jews and thier converts saved through the tribulation which is called "Jacobs trouble") The church is raptured as described in Thessalonians and Corinthians. Eddie Fox I appreciate your thoughtful response Eddie, but Jesus was describing the second coming being like the days of Noah, not identically. And if you think about it, those taken away in judgement by the flood would be taken away in judgement at the second coming. So that at Jesus’ second coming, you DO want to be “left behind” with Jesus on the new heaven and new earth.

THIS JUDGMENT OCCURRED IN 70 AD when the Roman army (made up of all nations) burned the city to the ground. This might be a dumb question, but when Jesus comes back do we die when he gathers us? Or is it more of a spiritual awakening? It might sound silly but I get nervous because I don't fully understand it... I think I need to pray about it and listen for an answer from Him.

I believe it's very soon. Most bible scholar say the tribulation must begin in the fall of any given year. It could be this fall.

Thanks, I always wondered about that. Some think Christians shouldn't be cremated and say that it is a pagan way to treat the dead. It is getting very popular especially with the cost of funerals and the cost of burial plots.
That which is sown corruptible will be raised incorruptible. Personally I doubt that God, the creator of the universe, requires anything from our carnal bodies to raise us up. He knows every atom and grain of dirt. Will be a no brainer for Him.
What does it mean that “the dead will rise first” in the second coming? If they have died wouldn’t they have gone to heaven..or hell? Are people in heaven now?
The Christian dead are in heaven with Christ now. But they have no body. At the rapture their spirits will return with christ, re-enter their lifeless bodies and be resurrected with a glorified body to be caught up to meet Jesus in the air where they will join the rest of the saints to live forever with the Lord.

The Bible talks about “clouds” going up and down with people going in and out (Exodus 24:18 - Moses entered the cloud). Clouds do not make those movements described in the Bible, but spaceships do. Jesus ascended in a “cloud” (Acts 1:9). God rides in a “cloud” (Isaiah 19:1, Psalm 104:3). Jesus will come back “with” the “clouds” (Mat 26:64, Rev 1:7). What you're saying, @Max Lucado, tickles people's ears but isn't Biblical. Preaching Jesus using only the New Testament is deceptive at best. The first place I've found the second coming of the Christ is Exodus 4:6-8 where Muses is the first, Jesus the diseased white second and "the latter sign of Edom per Isaiah 63. The two smitten rocks, in Exodus 17 and Numbers 20 are Christs as are "the Rod from Jesse's stem and Branch from his Roots of Isaiah 11. People usually believe the church is raptured before the "Great Tribulation of "The Battle of That Great Day of God Almighty" but where do we find "the prophet like Moses" (Deut. 18:15&18) and what will he do? Who is Isaiah 7:14-22's child or does that Prophecy describe two different sons? Who is Rev.12:5s manchild and what's his purpose and where is "heaven" that manchild is caught up to? And last but not least, since Revelation 1:1 reveals NOTHING in the Bible had happened before John saw it about 60 years after Jesus asended who is chapter five speaking about? Once you accept God's free gift of grace you become a new creation through salvation. Jesus creates a new heart in the believer and the Holy Spirit in invited in. Salvation cannot be taken away, you cannot be unborn. If someone who claims to be saved returns willfully to their sinful habits they were never saved to begin with.
Salvation is obtained by GRACE through faith alone. Repentance in this case is turning away from sin. Water baptism is not necessary for salvation, it is a public declaration of faith. It is showing the death of your old self and that you are a new person in Christ.

@@pamelasmitley3712 it's true Scripture says His church isn't appointed to wrath but says nothing about a rescue. It does say that those who keep His commandments, which is also the law, will be protected. Every pretrib believer I've seen also believe that God's laws has been done away with, nailed to the cross, been fulfilled, or whatever. The law that was against us, the penalty of death for breaking the law, which is sin, was fulfilled but the rest still stand. If there was was no law, there will be no law to transgress, therefore, there is no sin. The key word here is to repent. Repent from what? Christ's fulfillment of that law doesn't mean we are automatically forgiven. In Matthew 7:21-23, there are believers who are rejected from entering the Kingdom of heaven because they were lawless. Read Scripture for what it says without applying what you've been taught and no picking and choosing verses. Scripture does not contradict itself. I used to believe pretrib and other teachings and I would find Scripture contradicting itself. It turns out that it wasn't Scripture that was contradicting itself, it was my belief from what I was taught that contradicted Scripture. The believers who keep His commandments will be protected and those who do not will have to do it the hard way, like get killed. Since they are already deceived, it wouldn't be that hard for them to be deceived into satan's power. I often hear people say that they will not take the mark of the beast and I hope they don't but remember Peter said he wouldn't deny Jesus yet he did three times. Scripture says that the rapture comes at the end so get ready, don't expect a free ride out of here.

If you’ve accepted Him in your heart as Lord and Savior, you are saved and will be with Him in heaven. There is no striving to be “good enough” with Him because He has called us to just abide in Him (John 15:4)and love Him/our neighbors. We aren’t called to be perfect or good enough, we’re called to be followers of Christ :) the devil wants us to believe we have to be good enough or keep up an image for Jesus to accept us, but he already has!!! My own boyfriend is a nonbeliever and it’s heartbreaking to think of the evil that will befall him if he doesn’t accept Christ soon, but I have faith that he will change for the better. I went through that stage as well, hence I asked God to give me a sign about whether or not hes the one. within a few minutes, I saw a huge sign that said “DO NOT BREAK UP” in all capital letters as clear as day, so though he’s a nonbeliever, I have full confidence that he will have a change of heart and believe.

What has always amazed me about the people in Noahs day was how could they possibly not have noticed the animals boarding the ark without being caged or trapped somehow. I think my lightbulb would have lit up big-time. They were blinded I'm sure.

The fact that some folk are praying for him will just mean the Holy Spirit will work just that little bit harder to get him Saved for all eternity. @Chris Toscano You are wrong. The Rapture of the Church will precede the Tribulation. Think if the rapture was to occur after the tribulation and the saints in heaven cannot reproduce so where would the children in the 1000 year reign of Christ come from.
Whether you believe Jesus is coming back pre-trib, mid-trib or post-trib, does not matter, if you have accepted Him as your Savior. Stop arguing about a moot point all you self appointed theologians!
@Chris Toscano Want to know what tells me YOU don't know Jesus Christ? You just told someone they will burn in hell for believing the pre tribulation rapture is the truth. So, you're denying the gospel of Christ RIGHT THERE. We are SAVED when we believe on Christ's finished redemptive work on the cross. Our salvation has nothing to do with what we believe about the rapture or anything else outside the gospel. Salvation is based on our faith in Christ, PERIOD.
Time is short. Jesus is coming for His Church. You don't want to be here for what's coming upon this earth and all unbelievers. REPENT and believe the gospel of Grace.

Everyone goes through the tribulation. Believers (Messianic Jews and Gentiles) and unbelievers. Those who don’t receive the mark of the beast are those who keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus. (Take a look at # 4, the 7th day Sabbath). The final call in Rev 14- a call to worship the creator-his day and his way. Those who keep the commandments and have the faith of Jesus will be protected, just like the Israelites during the plagues of Egypt and Noah and his family in the ark. They are preserved while others die and suffer. We will go through but will be saved and protected. Then Jesus comes. Those who are alive and remain will be caught up to meet Him in the air at the same time as the resurrected saints/ dead believers awaiting the resurrection... and we will go to heaven and live and reign 1000 years. Then return to earth with Jesus and the New Jerusalem. Then there is a second resurrection-the wicked dead. They rise up to take the city but are destroyed by fire. And then the whole earth is cleansed by fire and all things are made new. New heaven and new earth. No sin, death, etc.
Jesus is coming. But have you realized from reading what Most High told Abraham, that in him and in his seed, all the nations of the Earth will be blessed, that the Most High is interested in diversity?

Where does the Bible say there will be 2 second comings of Christ? The New Testament only speaks of one.
Could I humbly suggest, Compare Jesus Glorious return at the end of the apocalyptic seals, bowls, Trumpets, third of all life destroyed, wormwood, plagues, boils etc etc with Jesus saying "just as in the times of Noah and Lot" . Normal everyday life! Does that sound like the end of Armageddon? Clearly He is speaking of two events. There's no way these two, the rapture, as a" thief in the night" and His glorious return are the same.
People definitely won't be giving and taking in marriage and trading as normal on the day of His return. They'll be struggling to survive. Jesus said, "that time will be cut short for the elects sake or else no one would survive it." (The elect are the 144,000 Jews and thier converts saved through the tribulation which is called "Jacobs trouble") The church is raptured as described in Thessalonians and Corinthians. I hope this helps. I was doubtful too but decided to really study the scriptures. God bless.

Eddie Fox I appreciate your thoughtful response Eddie, but Jesus was describing the second coming being like the days of Noah, not identically. And if you think about it, those taken away in judgement by the flood would be taken away in judgement at the second coming. So that at Jesus’ second coming, you DO want to be “left behind” with Jesus on the new heaven and new earth.
There is only one return and one rapture. The rapture is not His return but our exit.

YES HE CERTAINLY DID! Psalms 18 says it explicitly, speaking of the Lord Jehovah; Psa 18:9 “He bowed the heavens also, and CAME DOWN: and darkness was under his feet.” God “CAME DOWN” when delivering David from the hands of King Saul. The text says He came with fire from His nostrils, shaking the mountains, bowing the heavens, He rode upon a cherub and did fly upon the wings of the wind, with thick clouds, etc (Psl 18:7-12). Jesus said He would come as He saw the Father do (John 5:19). Yet no one PHYSICALLY saw God do any of this, no one literally saw smoke and fire coming from His nostrils.

Look at all the old testament passages where God came "IN THE CLOUDS" to bring judgment ...
"Behold, the Lord rides on a SWIFT CLOUD, and will come into Egypt; The idols of Egypt will totter at His presence, And the heart of Egypt will melt in its midst." (Isa 19:1)

In that passage, did the Lord literally come "IN THE CLOUDS" ?? Not that we can tell. Did the hearts of the Egyptians literally melt ? NO ... This was common in that culture to write in hyperbolic language to describe God's judgment on a particular city or nation. In reality, His judgment came to Egypt through the Assyrian army.

Here's another example ... He was said to have come "IN THE CLOUDS" in Zephaniah 1:14-15 NKJV) ... "The great day of the Lord is NEAR; It is NEAR and hastens QUICKLY. The noise of the DAY OF THE LORD is bitter; There the mighty men shall cry out. That day is a day of WRATH, A day of trouble and distress, A day of devastation and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, A DAY OF CLOUDS and thick darkness."

This passage is describing the judgment of Judah through the Babylonian captivity of 585 BC.

In Matthew 24, we find the same hyperbolic language where Jesus said He too would come "IN THE CLOUDS" - That chapter starts off with Jesus prophesying the destruction of the Temple and Jerusalem. THIS JUDGMENT OCCURRED IN 70 AD when the Roman army (made up of all nations) burned the city to the ground. This chapter (Matt 24) was FULFILLED at the END OF THE AGE (70AD)... just as Jesus predicted.

This might be a dumb question, but when Jesus comes back do we die when he gathers us? Or is it more of a spiritual awakening? It might sound silly but I get nervous because I don't fully understand it... I think I need to pray about it and listen for an answer from Him.

I believe it could be they have waited longer than those of us who are alive. Could explain there soul .spirit in asleep in there grave. Just a thought we can ask our lord when we get to heaven. I believe it's very soon. Most bible scholar say the tribulation must begin in the fall of any given year. It could be this fall.

Thanks, I always wondered about that. Some think Christians shouldn't be cremated and say that it is a pagan way to treat the dead. It is getting very popular especially with the cost of funerals and the cost of burial plots.
The dead in Christ will rise
first. Look it up in your Bible.
That which is sown corruptible will be raised incorruptible. Personally I doubt that God, the creator of the universe, requires anything from our carnal bodies to raise us up. He knows every atom and grain of dirt. Will be a no brainer for Him.

What does it mean that “the dead will rise first” in the second coming? If they have died wouldn’t they have gone to heaven..or hell? Are people in heaven now?
The Christian dead are in heaven with Christ now. But they have no body. At the rapture their spirits will return with christ, re-enter their lifeless bodies and be resurrected with a glorified body to be caught up to meet Jesus in the air where they will join the rest of the saints to live forever with the Lord.

The Bible talks about “clouds” going up and down with people going in and out (Exodus 24:18 - Moses entered the cloud). Clouds do not make those movements described in the Bible, but spaceships do. Jesus ascended in a “cloud” (Acts 1:9). God rides in a “cloud” (Isaiah 19:1, Psalm 104:3). Jesus will come back “with” the “clouds” (Mat 26:64, Rev 1:7). The first place I've found the second coming of the Christ is Exodus 4:6-8 where Muses is the first, Jesus the diseased white second and "the latter sign of Edom per Isaiah 63. The two smitten rocks, in Exodus 17 and Numbers 20 are Christs as are "the Rod from Jesse's stem and Branch from his Roots of Isaiah 11.
People usually believe the church is raptured before the "Great Tribulation of "The Battle of That Great Day of God Almighty" but where do we find "the prophet like Moses" (Deut. 18:15&18) and what will he do? Who is Isaiah 7:14-22's child or does that Prophecy describe two different sons? Who is Rev.12:5s manchild and what's his purpose and where is "heaven" that manchild is caught up to? And last but not least, since Revelation 1:1 reveals NOTHING in the Bible had happened before John saw it about 60 years after Jesus asended who is chapter five speaking about?

if this was the only video a non-believer saw about Jesus' return, i would have to give it a thumbs down. there is way more to it. "even the demons believe, and they shudder". it is as simple as having faith in Christ, but that is just when the work begins, and i mean roll up your sleeves kind of effort. not this cotton candy and rainbows story; just believe and everyone lives happily ever after.
