- This is me, performing intro and finale of DT's "The Count of Tuscany" (from the album Black Clouds and Silver Linings).
The guitar I'm playing in this video is my GNG Dr.V 7 custom, handmade in Italy by Liuteria GNG.

This Solo is by Far I've ever seen and Listened to in my entire life.. Maybe I might be wrong, but, as far as I've heard, I've listened to every single one of those of Veteran, Legend or top Guitarist solos in RUclips. But, I've never heard so smooth and Emotional with great feeling Solos like this.. There's a lot that Chills me, but, this one Creeps me out.. @Alessandrocattani La Powerball in flat, cassa mono-cono HPS artigianale cono Eminence, sm58. Aggiunto delay e riverbero su Cubase prima di mixare la mia chitarra con la base originale (cd instrumental version dei Dream Theater) :-)

Yes that's the pinch harmonic...... But you can even give a tap harmonic
You have to stop the string from vibrating partly, so the overtones continue. I go about this by holding the pick closer to my thump, slightly touching the string after stroking it. By trial and error you will find the technique, and then you can fairly quickly develop it.
Practice with distortion at first to make it easier is a good idea imo. :)
