Fab result! Daniel Cooper is a genius, always leading the way in trying out new techniques! Yes, his pieces are generally small, but it's the innovation we all appreciate 😊.
Wow you are so amazingly talented, I love to listen to you rattle on as your just honest and teaching us what to not to do and if not how to work a opps into a wow. I have just started to collect resins and the endless exsta,s . I haven't did anything yet but watch tutorials yours holding my attention the most. I laugh with you and want to thank you for keeping it real
Love them both!! Thank you for you! I started doing resin a year ago after seeing one of your u tube videos- thank you for all you teach me! Im addicted and love it so much ❤
Julie, clearly I’ve got to come from the shadows and remind you that, 1. No one notices these “flaws” like you do. It’s a first time project, we should watch to “learn, adjust and improve.” 2. All the fumbling and panicking is not worth all the worry. We aren’t there saying “hurry, fix it, ugh! What’s taking so long?” So, relax! We are invited into your world, a calming but hectic , joyful with a smidge of chaos, and artistic freedom! Take a breath, you can always PAUSE/EDIT 🤫 no one will ever know! And 3. We LOVE all of it!!! The need for perfection but so impatient 😊, the countdown to flip it over but so worried it’s not the best thing in the world, the first cup of coffee or no video in the morning is worth it, the dogs barking/birds singing, the rain/sun/hot & the cold in the studio! The swirl the middle, or the glitter and the stickers because that middle is a crippling feeling for you! All the things, and we still tune in EVERYDAY! Now, I’m going back to my nighttime routine of watching you and going night night! See ya tomorrow!
I find myself getting so stressed with this ladys constant negatives and how she fills the whole podcast with her voice, I love Daniel Cooper he has a soothing vibe and is definitely a great source of info.
@@FlowersbyElise now Ms. Elise we not going to reward negativity with negativity. It’s called reverse empowerment. You should try it! Dropping other people’s pages/names, is ugly. We love julie and all her worries on her journey to whatever she dreams as perfection. As a supporter of her content, I choose to uplift her and focus on the good. Go on over somewhere else with that.
Excellently put! I wouldn't have been as nice. Lol. 😂 Otherwise, my suggestion is 🔇 mute your audio, or head on down the road to other RUclips creators. 👋 I am one of over 1/2 million subscribers (500k+) of Julie's. I started watching her during the pandemic! We ❤ LOVE ❤️ you Julie just the way you are 💞💕💞 please don't change a thing!! 😍🥰
I used the kraken bond pro lube silicone lubricant for adhesion of the flakes. I know Daniel thought that would make the next layer of resin not adhere to the first but I didn’t have any issues. It held tight. I just sprayed a light layer once about 10 inches from the piece a quick swipe of the can. Flakes adhered beautifully and top coat was secure.
I love this technique how the drops make the chameleon flakes pop and the matte makes them glow. One thing I've found is that to remove chameleon flakes you might need to use your isopropyl alcohol, just washing generally won't budge them.
That swirly circle alone is one of The Most Extraordinary Gorgeous Exotic things I have EVER Seen!!! Unbelievable!! You are a genius! & to be able to see ahead & know that would be a lily pad for the frog!! Colors are incredible! It may have taken a long time but You can sell it for bank! Well done!! 😍
GORGEOUS froggie and coaster, Julie! Of all the powder/flake techniques: 1. Mix into resin. 2. "Paint" mold with powder. 3. "Paint" the back of the cured resin... my favorite is #3. I LOVE the matte, translucent effect of frosted glass! 💕😍
Julie, In all the years I have been watching you, I dont think I have seen you so flustered. When this happens take a minute, pause the video and regroup. I have to do it because of my brain injury. Its okay I promise. In the end they turned out awesome. Thank you for trying and sharing the technique with us today. 😊❤🤗💞
Saw this technique on Daniel Cooper’s channel too. Another technique of his that is helpful is to mist alcohol on the back. This allows it to be sticky enough to apply the mica or chameleon powder.
Just wondered if you have tried applying the flakes or powders with and old school make-up sponge. They are great at burnishing the flakes/chrome into surfaces...they allow you to cover large surfaces fast and pick up any excess product and they are so cheep. I love this technique 💛💛
Great video! Daniel Cooper just shared a great hack for getting the flakes or powder to stick on fully cured resin. You spray isopropyl alcohol on the resin and the flakes should stick. Hope this helps! Xx
These look beautiful x couple of uv tips, can use baby wipe or alchol on a cotton bud to wipe off uv where you don't want it but before you cure. A great daniel cooper trick is using Elmer's (school) glue in the tiniest amount mixed into your uv resin to make it much thicker and hold itself longer in place, especially helpful when fighting gravity 😊
Turned out beautiful! And the frog is adorable! I saw the still picture of this first. I like the frosted look. But maybe use a spray bottle mixed with alcohol and the chameleon to help stick. I also watch a guy who does resin floors, counter tops, bath tubs etc.... it's a trick he uses.
“Frog on a Lillypad” sounds like an excellent name for an expensive piece of art, lol! Love how on the round piece that you can see the light shining through the uv dots on top and reflecting off the bottom - it’s a double effect.
I watched Daniel Coopers video a few days ago and thought it was such a cool idea. Your Lilly pad is gorgeous. I think with the shapes on it plus the dots just make it pop.
They are awesome! I love them ❤ Its awesome to see Daniel has inspired you, he is amazing, as are you. I love how you both just love to experiment ❤ have you tried hos hairspray experiments, they a fantastic too.
Oh I love this technique!!! These turned out so cool! I also was thinking "looks like octopus tentacles" before you said that 🤭 and the froggie is sooo cute!!! Excited to see you do the whale!
On the one that cured, use some uv resin and only cure it for a few seconds to keep it sticky. You'll be able to use your flakes. Then cure with a bit more uv
Beautiful work as always. I saw another video somewhere on RUclips where they sprayed the surface with a little alcohol to get the flakes to stick , but I haven't tried it myself.
I always have a heck of a time with the flakes. Definitely fiddly. Looks amazing, tho! Ooooo, love the way the light shines through the clear. Very sweet. xoxoxoxoxoxo
I guess you heard us all yelling put alcohol on the back that'll make it sticky. 😂 I love how the coaster and frog turned out. I'm going to have to get some coasters like those. I really love those! I have the tray.
if you rub the survise with alcohol..then the flakes will stick..also a techniek that i saw on his channel. (Daniël..). but he got the tip from somone else..if i remember right!!

I have that bunny mould and omg we couldn't stop petting it. It felt like velvet ❤❤❤ I love how they turned out.
Isopropyl alcohol on a cloth will make it sticky and then you can put on the flakes. Daniel Cooper figured this out.
You could burnish it
It turned out beautiful ❤️
These came out gorgeous ❤❤❤
I love Danidl Cooper, he has such a brain for resin! Love his expiriments!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Oh so pretty with the dots. Beautiful
Beautiful! Tip: glue a knob or handle on your curing light for easy maneuvering. ❤
Both of these are beautiful, love the changing colours. Well done and thank you for sharing your work with us.
Lord that is beautiful. It is 1000% worth the effort.
That is Absolutely Gorgeous!!❤

I love all of your, I'm not sure what to call it, but quirky antiques and giggles. You are AWESOME ! ❤
Thank you for sharing another idea, I love how the dots make the colorings pop even more....very pretty
They turned out pretty. Its the clear spots that refract the light that makes all the colours stand out more ,just as if it had water on it 🥰
Wow, just wow. Daniel is an amazing inspiration as are you!

The coaster has an organic feel, I love it!

WOW! The gradient in your colors for the Droplet Coaster is beautiful. Thanks for sharing with us.

Love both the frog and coaster. The color of the coaster with the rain drops is my favorite. Thank you for sharing this with us. Have a blessed day.
These look great! Daniel always has some cool ideas
Hi. Love this technique. A lot of work, but with incredible results. I love how the frog turned out 😍
GORGEOUS froggie and coaster, Julie!
Of all the powder/flake techniques:
1. Mix into resin.
2. "Paint" mold with powder.
3. "Paint" the back of the cured resin...
my favorite is #3. I LOVE the matte, translucent effect of frosted glass! 💕😍
It turnrd out beautifully
Amazing colours and textures. Thank you for sharing.
Absolutely beautiful!😻
I love this. I think I need to be more patient! Great job.
They both turned out so gorgeous the colors that you use turned out even beautiful

Was I flustered, I didn't feel it 😂
I didn’t notice.
I loved the color of the frog period. The dots on the coaster looks fabulous. They are both beautiful.😊❤
Well how cute is that! Froggy is adorable, definitely needs a leaf to sit on, with the wavy coaster sitting behind. That was fun!
Saw this technique on Daniel Cooper’s channel too. Another technique of his that is helpful is to mist alcohol on the back. This allows it to be sticky enough to apply the mica or chameleon powder.
You can run your flame over the resin to warm it up and top will be sticky enough to burnish it with the mica flakes
Such a cool effect!

I just bought 50 for less than $5 on Amazon. USA
Mesmerizing!!!!!!!!!!!
It looks like tentacles, love it. Daniel did alcohol first n then flakes
Very cute. I like your original frog 🐸 the one where you put the UV resin in the mould first. ❤❤❤
Very pretty! Nice tip of the adhesive spray, thanks. I have mod podge spray!
Great video! Daniel Cooper just shared a great hack for getting the flakes or powder to stick on fully cured resin. You spray isopropyl alcohol on the resin and the flakes should stick. Hope this helps! Xx
A better method is to mix the flakes with a bit of iso to make a paste, then smooth it on.
@@fairyspunfibers9098 wow I’ll give that a try! Thanks 😃

Oh they turned out so fantastic. I watch Daniel do his and now watching you do yours. Yay! Both are amazing. 🥰
the matt mold really makes the drips of shiny uv resin stand out!
Wow those are amazing 😻😻😻 just love them💙💙💙
Lovely, lovely, LOVELY work!
I really love this effect! Turned out amazingly! Your spray glue is a great tip! Thank you Julie.☺️💐
Wow I just absolut amazing
love it
I saw this when Daniel did it. Yours has turned out amazing, too. ❤
Absolutely gorgeous! I love both!
Fabulous job! Love the details of both!!
Great idea starting with a matte mold. Nicely done.. definitely takes more time on a larger project.
They are both beautiful!!
I love your frog, and the Lilly pad. Thank you Julie.
Wow, they turned out beautiful! The frog reminded me of the Northern Lights. I love them both! Thank you. 🐸💐
Beautiful!! I love the colors!
You should also wear a UV safe glove on your hand if you are going to hold the projects under the curing lamp.
They both look amazing
Both are beautiful and amazing!!

Love them! The colors are so so cool. 😍
Viewing from the caribbean wow they turned out beautiful julie well done 🐇🐸🦎🐋
Both pieces are stupendous and I love them both 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
That's So Awesome Julie 🎉
What a fun and beautiful technique! The round one looks like abstract octopi tentacles! So pretty!
That coaster really turned out beautiful.
I watched Daniel Coopers video a few days ago and thought it was such a cool idea. Your Lilly pad is gorgeous. I think with the shapes on it plus the dots just make it pop.
Thankyou ❤
Very pretty, love the design and technique. ❤❤
They are awesome! I love them ❤ Its awesome to see Daniel has inspired you, he is amazing, as are you. I love how you both just love to experiment ❤ have you tried hos hairspray experiments, they a fantastic too.
the stripe mold made me think about doing stripey pattern of UV resin versus the dots. You should totally try it! :)
That is really so cool!!!
Then cure with a bit more uv
wow that looks good!
Super cute!
These came out beautifully!!!!
Love the pour today. Love frogs
You really need to use a rich black layer or base for any type of the chameleon/dual-chrome/color shift powders to see it the best.
Those are stunning! 🤩😍❤️👏🏼
I watched an episode of David's and he sprayed 99% alcohol on his project and it worked out great.
Beautiful work as always. I saw another video somewhere on RUclips where they sprayed the surface with a little alcohol to get the flakes to stick , but I haven't tried it myself.
I saw that on Daniel..Cooper's channel, but another idea is to mix the powder/flakes into a bit of iso alc, and make a paste, then spread it on.
Very pretty!❤
This is so cool!

Unexpected!beautiful effect!

Try the high velocity UV it will stay in place longer. Stunning work
Lol. high *viscosity*, not velocity. We don't want our resin to run away from us. 😅
