This is how abysmal Ableton is: I had to look up a freaking tutorial on Ableton to figure out how to import a blasted audio file. The most basic and intuitive process imaginable. Ableton found a way to make it arcane. Bravo, Ableton. Bravo.
What type of .ogg file is it (FLAC or Voribs)? Vorbis should work, but if it's not letting you import it, it's probably FLAC. I don't use .ogg, but my only workaround would be to use Audacity to convert the file type (hopefully Audacity will recognise it).
That an audio clip cannot be imported via the File menu intimates that Ableton is not designed for editing audio, even though it natively incudes some editing features. I have tried several DAWs, among them Ardour, Reaper and Tracktion's Waveform and am beginning to realize just how superior Audacity is for editing audio clips.
I have this wierd problem with midi, I added my midi and I cant get any sound, my sound card is getting the signal but I don't get any output, Ive tried everything I knew, do you know whats wrong with it? thanks
I'm not familiar with Ghost Hack. Looking at their website, the samples seem to all be .wav files, is that correct? Are there any download instructions? The info on the website is pretty minimal. Usually I'd use Kontakt as a plug-in for my strings/synths. The only idea I can suggest without more info is to use Simpler as that will take any .wav files. However, I expect that's not what your looking for.
If it’s supposed to be a compatible file type it might be the codec, not sure why though. I’d try exporting it out of fl studio as a wav file and see if it will import into Ableton.
@@mattdmatt it sounds normal when I play it off my computer but when I drop it in ableton starts to act weird .. sounds like the beat is whispering honestly lol

@Matt Deegan do you know how to add .ogg audio files? As far I can see only way is to covert it to another supported format like mp3

Can I record guitar in garage band and import it in ableton?
Yes. Export it from GarageBand as a .wav file and import it into Ableton.
Hey brother. The moment you drag in a mp3 file on audio does it convert into a Wav file?
It will create a temporary uncompressed file which you will be able to export as wav mp3 (Live 10 or 11). Upsampling won't help the quality though.
What if ableton says my file is corrupt but i can drop into fl studio easily
