Thanks for including a female bowler and for including the house shot control. It adds validity to your reviews. I also appreciate the ball and drilling specs and ball comparisons.
You think this thing is better shiny or at box? I got a used one for 25 bucks and went 360-500- step two and it certainly doesn’t need surface to pick up in the mids. I really like it after one practice session, really reminds me of the Helios, just kinda better and more versatile.
Blinded By Light! I haven't bowled league in six years and I'm just checking out the current day balls. This channel just comes straight at me with some Final Fantasy 13 business. Loving it.
Im trying not to overstate, but the Helios may be my favorite ball ever.... I know it sounds dumb, but I think I'm gonna snag up the cosmos just because of how much I like the Helios
Two things - What is that song? I swear it's from a game I've played but can't put my finger on it. Maybe a Final Fantasy game? And two - "I blamed the ball but then realized I'm just an idiot" should be a merch shirt. I'd buy it for the fact I do that all the time 🤣🤣🤣
I’m going to get the Cosmos. I finally figured out the Helios and want the complement to it. BTW won money with the Helios and still hated it. Good benchmark balls.
HOOOOOLLLLYYYYY IDOL , so many choices from this line! A good thing but a bit confusing for an average mind. Thanks for dropping in the similar to Zen Soul helped put it into place for me. Love the Soul and Zen.. NICE WORK on the review.
@@LukeRosdahl ya no hurry i'm just trying to decide if it will be to close to my Zen and middle line balls and am supposed to let a guy I won 2 free balls from on a facebook deal know a couple weeks before it comes out which 2 balls I'm gonna get so that's the main reason I was wondering I'm gonna go with the new Infinite physix as my first one to replace my stolen Dark code but not sure of a gap to fill in my arsenal with my 2nd option yet
I enjoy watching you all, your videos are fantastic. I save all the Balls to Bags one also. Great info. It’s like a baby Helios lol I like that. Rolling 15.2-15.8 the Helios has been a great ball for me. Cosmo is a ball I’m getting and leaving the lane shine on as you said. You and Angel make a great pair showing all of us each and every ball. It’s the No# 1 show I watch
Idol Pro is still a quite a bit weaker coverstock formula, so it's longer and more responsive than the Cosmos, couple boards weaker but that's hard to see because of the friction response differences.
Your videos are an real good incite into the actual workings of the bowling balls you demo. And the two of you are an outstanding way to present the way a ball reacts on lanes. Great Job, Luke and Angel! I choose a new ball only aqfter seeing your video on it. Now, I have a questipn, what bowl is good for a replacement of the SureLock. I have resurfaced mine a couple times and just isn't the same. I would appreciate some suggestions on a replacement. Bowl in a couple different houses several nights a week. Thanks so much for your work!!
Thanks!! This is fortunately an easy one, the 900 Global Reality is VERY similar to the Sure Lock, to the point of nearly being the same ball, I believe I reference that in my review if you want to go check it out.
I know 5 people that have or had the helios one of the slowest response balls i have seen.i have a 2 hander i coach a rev rate 425 ball speed off hand 16 is the only ball he can start with on the fresh and be right of 20 very slow and round for all 5 players
That's weird . . it's really sharp for a solid ball. It was too sharp for me to throw, my sport gauntlet video shows the story, so I don't know lol. Layout maybe?
Been rewatching a lot of Idol Cosmos stuff after seeing someone in my league throw it. Am I crazy for thinking there are some Omega Crux vibes here? I know comparing symms to asymms is often foolish, but strength and shape-wise, it sure seems like they're very similar balls once they hit the lane.
Pretty well, the Infinite rolls strong, but is cleaner and sharper on the backend. The Cosmos also rolls strong, but is a little earlier and a lot smoother, so they'd compliment each other well.
Not really, the Infinite is good at moving deeper, but the Cosmos is better from straighter angles. They're both pretty strong balls though, so not really build for dry lanes or transition.
So I’m always trying to find a ball thats basically the reincarnation of the Prodigy. The Zen Soul to me looked a lot like the Prodigy. You did mention that the RST X1 was a better choice. I recently watched the Cosmos review on the Beef & Barnzy channel. I mentioned that the Cosmos seem to be almost like the Prodigy. Both 4k pearl, the pearl E.T.M cover stock I believe was the early stages of nano. They mentioned that the Zen Master was closer to the Prodigy. Which kinda surprised me. The videos are always great and are always getting better! Looking forward to the comparison videos with the Cosmos!
Ehhhh, I had a Prodigy and this one is veeeery similar to it. The ZM is too slow, and now that the X1 is gone and we have this, I think this is closer, and pretty well right on. That same very strong, round, and controllable motion with ENOUGH shape.
"I blamed the ball but then realized I'm just an idiot" should be on a shirt

I think it's better with shine because yeah, it's super strong and early enough to begin with.
JR Raymond made this ball look like Fever Pitch's long lost unwanted cousin. You make it look like a legend LOL!
Stu and Barnes like it quite a bit too . .
But of course we're all biased lying staffers trying to move product 😒

Luv the supercut shots arrow to arrow near the end. Really helps see the difference in length and shape.
Final Fantasy XIII FTW

Final Fantasy 13 Battle Theme. ;)
@@Tenpinmaster That's it! As soon as you said it the violins started playing in my head.
@@drivillain4967 yep ^^ FF13 may not be a great final fantasy game but it had great music.. :D
I love when people recognize the music . . I generally default to Mega Man and Final Fantasy, but there's some other good ones out there too
One of the best musical themes I've ever heard. Remembered always humming it at work.
Give me goosebumps sometimes
I’m going to get the Cosmos. I finally figured out the Helios and want the complement to it. BTW won money with the Helios and still hated it. Good benchmark balls.
Music provided by Dragonforce.
Nope!
@@LukeRosdahl Truth be told, I’m probably going to get this ball and the infinite physix. I know I will. It’s a sickness. lol

I'm actually writing a comparison of the Cosmos to the Zen and the Soul right now!
@@LukeRosdahl will you put that out on RUclips pretty soon
@@benh1356 Working on it. Ball doesn't come out for another 3 weeks, so not that much of a rush

That Synergy looked filthier than a Gas Station bathroom : ) another great review sir!

Can't wait Ikon core is Bae for me this ball looks amazing
How does the Cosmos compare to the Idol pro. That ball had a sheen to it. One of my favorite Idols.
Idol Pro is still a quite a bit weaker coverstock formula, so it's longer and more responsive than the Cosmos, couple boards weaker but that's hard to see because of the friction response differences.
I haven't bought a ball since my halo vision a few years ago....I might be sold on this as it looks like it will fit my game

Just bought cosmos threw 2 games I was standing on 17 never been able to bowl that up the boards
What’s your blue jersey called? I can’t find it?
It's called Modern Blue Stripe, it's one of my favorites I have right now

Yeah, definitely in the same ballpark, Omega is virtually an asym Cosmos
How would this ball pair with a infinite physix?
Pretty well, the Infinite rolls strong, but is cleaner and sharper on the backend. The Cosmos also rolls strong, but is a little earlier and a lot smoother, so they'd compliment each other well.
@@LukeRosdahl would either work when it's starts to dry or transition?
Not really, the Infinite is good at moving deeper, but the Cosmos is better from straighter angles. They're both pretty strong balls though, so not really build for dry lanes or transition.
@@LukeRosdahl but they would be able to be used somewhat if I get deeper left?
The Infinite moreso than the Cosmos unless you have a higher rev rate, then the Cosmos offers a lot of control.
How close is this to the OG idol?
Not quite as early, a touch weaker, and sharper on the backend
@@LukeRosdahl Thanks sir. That helps alot. I may be adding this to the my bag. For some reason this core rolls best for me.
do you have someone throwing a 14#
Nope, we both throw 15s. Tamer Bowling uses 14s tho
Would you say that the Hustle Wine is a good step down from the Cosmos. I like the look of the Cosmos but my lanes make strong cores looks stronger.
The Wine is more like 2 or 3 steps down from a Cosmos, huge huge gap in ball strengths
@@LukeRosdahl 👍. What would be a good step down from the Cosmos? If you don’t mind me asking.
Something like an IQ Tour Solid, I'd have also said like Spectre, Wolverine, Trend 2, etc., buuuuut lol . .
I like that FF12 Lightening theme yea yaya love godlike yea yaya; D
