G-Project G-Storm AM FM BT Weather Alert Portable Radio Review

The G-Project G-Storm AM FM Bluetooth NOAA Weather Alert Emergency Portable Radio is not your typical Survival Information Center. Sporting No Dynamo, or Solar Panel, the Receiver relies on its internal Lithium Battery, and Standard AA Batteries to Stay Running. No Parasitic Drain of a Clock / Alarm will keep the Battery Fresh if charged twice a Year. How is the Reception you ask? Most Excellent :) Cool Display, Powerful Audio, Active Alert Mode, and IPX4 Water Resistant are some of the features I found nice to have.

Above Average FM Reception.
Clear Inverted Display.
Strong, Pleasing Speaker Audio.
Weather Alert Mode can Stay active While the Radio is Tuned to AM, or FM.
Decent Three Mode Flashlight.
Power Bank Feature.
Above Average NOAA Weather Reception.
IPX4 Water Resistant.
Forty Presets, Twenty Per Band.
Incremental, and Browse Tuning.
The Ability to Manually Enter Presets.
Red LED for Alert Mode Status While the Radio is Off.
Water Resistant AA Battery Compartment.
AM Reception is Good.
Features that could be Added or Improved on:
Ditch the Fixed Carabiner.
Add a Clock/Alarm Feature. Important during a Power Outage.
Have the 18650 Replaceable, like the C.Crane CC Radio Solar.
A Sturdy Dynamo for those who forget to stock batteries.
Overall, this is a Great Emergency Radio to have on Hand. Just keep Extra batteries for it, in case you don't keep up with the Charge Cycles. Expect excellent audio while you tune the bands, or listen to your favorite Music over Bluetooth. At $34, the price is decent. Save up some Gift Cards, and get one for free :)
