So much great info! Thanks! I go back 20 years as I was at my last 2-3 jobs several years. Anyway, 17 of those was remote transcription work and the last 3 working in an office until I got laid off. I use bullets to highlight my skills and experience. However, I have been looking for non-work at home jobs and cannot find anything close and don't want to commute more than 15 miles. How does one get trained in all the different software packages so many of the remote jobs require?
I have some good Udemy courses linked to in the below post. You can also learn things like Microsoft Office for free at sites GCFLearnFree. theworkathomewife.com/skills-work-at-home/
Remote positions receive an incredibly large number of applications when compared to local openings - hundreds, if not thousands, in many cases. Blocks of text can be overwhelming for hiring managers. Keep your resume short and concise. Use bullet lists to highlight what’s important and necessary. This is especially the case for entry-level positions.
Good Morning Angie,I got an email about a work at home summit? Will I definitely get a job from this program? It looks very exciting. is it guaranteed ?
There’s nothing magical about Work-At-Home School by itself; all the magic happens when you take action. It works if you work. That being said, Caitlin does offer a money-back guarantee. After 365 days, if you show her team that you did the work and did not get any results, you can ask for a full refund.

I usually use paragraphs. I was told by a friend that bullet points are unprofessional. Are bullets preferred for work from home resumes?
