Hey what up fellow WI enthusiast!!! Lol I have a no power wagon...., and a "b" cam unsorted out sedan. On the highway, though I have to say the wagon has really been operating exceptionally well lately in that 75 to 85 range on 41. One of these days, I would really like to bring it in for a dyno and see how many horses have escaped after 34 years. Also....lol next years 240 Polar plunge is open to new participants 😁....if your in the area, plus there will be a hot chocolate station.
Awesome beast of a ride....I'm a bit jealous of that rear decor panel, too! Say, odd question perhaps, but we're you in another video a few years back at a show not racing.....lol or at some point owned an earlier green lowered 244 that would have been driven to Gibson metal recycling in search of gauge cluster parts?

Welcome to Tuesday, Charles! Too long, haha. I can't believe it's fall already. Simon, the pup, and I got a job doing lock tending on the river for the summer. I did get a few little things done and did my first car show, but now 🤞going to get a LOT more. I hope all is well up there in Maine😁😁
Just finished this up with Fave Barton’s continuous strip- ended up with 10” inches of anyone’s curious. After way too much time trying to get the left rear old seal out of the channel- I decided to open up the ends of the next one and put it under my hot water tap….slid out in seconds after getting it hot. To go in I sprayed Griots speed shine….1837828x faster this way. Also found on the rears you can just start prying up as the door gets smaller-no need to pry tabs, slide down on replacement ( soft screw driver handle taps thirst down well without marks
What up, Dennis?!😁 Indeed I am,lol. How is fall already? 🤣I've hardly even recovered from the locks. I didn't do so hot in October for video, but I've been doing things that would be good videos. Parking next to a car show , and fist time entering a car show should have been a series!!
Hi Patrick. I really enjoy the videos. Working on the seals today. QQ. Do you have to remove the side view mirrors on the doors? Happy Easter from Amsterdam
Hey there Patrick I noticed your armrest in your 240 oh by the way are cars are twins😂 where did you get the armrest if like one for my 240 awesome video. Thank you
What up twinzee...lol🤣 There is one that had been on ebay for a bit item#155757099744. It seems overpriced @350$ there is some substantialwear. Idk maybe they would take less. Armrests have been hard to find for a long time. I have the last version in my sedan, it's black with the front and rear cupholders. I will say the look of the earlier ones seem more fitting, but the later are a lot easier to use seatbelts with. There is also a black and a tan very early/fist version available right now, too, that is adjustable. Heads up tho the black one looks to be missing the triangle mount.
Really a lot for a 34 year old Wisconsin car🤣. So the odometer just passed 316,000, but that's a bit off. The gear was broke for a while... somewhere between 2.5 and 4 years. So my guess is around 350k. Spring chicken as far as 240s go lol.
I was wondering how to fix these. Mine are horrible, w chunks of rubber broken off. Your video could be more clear. Does the rubber gasket slide into a groove? Thanks!
Yes it fits (only one way). With the pices in person its easy to see. Lol I will say the new ones are a much tighter fit than the old dried out scrapers. Next time I think I would open up the channel the whole length, I just did the ends in the video and I sped up the shot, but they didn't slide in particularly easy.
Great video...😮 I own a 1989 244 DL VOLVO with only 261K miles and have replaced several major parts recently such as the tack & pinion - 4 times e/in 13 years since I moved from the S.F.Bay Area to a very rural community where Volvo parts are none existant...CANNOT locate USED OR NEW OIL.PAN!! PLEASE HELP...Jessica from San Andrea's Thank you.
Thanks!😁 240 parts are WAY more scarce in the salvage yards than just a few years ago. Ebay...lol, as long as you're willing to keep checking, it all comes up eventually. I just checked, and there are a couple of oil pans at the moment.
As a Norwegian, i love to see that these bricks are still being enjoyed outside of scandinavia aswell 👍
All over the world... more than than three decades later, they are still awesome to use every day 👏😁
I saw you on the highway today, it's nice to see another 240 enthusiasts out there. I have a couple aswell, all are pretty high power though haha

This is a really good project for those autumn months.
And BAM, just like that, we are already back to fall🍂 It's a big task to bite off....but 🤞 I can do the blower motor replacement b4 winter.
Great job! Just got an 88 240 DL sedan. I wasn’t sure how hard it’d be to replace those! Thank you!
Congrats on the new sedan! 🤞yours are easy...lol. Thanks for watching 😁😁
Happy Monday ! I can't believe how beautiful the end result looks! No more umbrellas lol
Welcome to Tuesday, CP!! 🤣 right?! 🎶Ella, ella ay ay...Keeping that rain away!

I did that in mine, it was a pita, but well worth it!
I agree on both!🤣🤣 I can't say I'm exactly excited to do it on the sedan, but now I do want that one done too.
Joy!! You are back! Glad to see you back at it.

Happy Easter from Amsterdam
Figured it out. Removed the mirror just to be on the safe side. Learned that it wasn't necessary 😂
Hey, thanks for watching! Lol, we'll good practice if you ever need a new mirror. A happy (and apparently productive) Easter to you as well!

Did u replaced the black vinyl stickers?
No, not yet. I have some paint/body issues to take care of....lol but it's on the list.
I already bought the vinyls and I need to replace them
