VintageBeef (SPOILERS!!!!!!!! , FURTHER DOWN) don't mind if u want to play in 1st person but I enjoy w as teaching your videos in 3rd person and u can see people running and shooting from behind u, also u can get feathers from vultures and ostriches. Also just fyi I would like to see you group up with the others such as slipg8tr keralis, xb and Johnbane to kill the dragon up north. Also every religion is currently glitched right now besides ymir, because if u have to collect body parts from humans you currently can't. There is a tent that make it so u cant take damage from sandstorm while using it as shelter, there is also a mask that negates sandstorm damage. Finally please use the lock on mechanic and dodge mechanic more often you'll take less damage. P.S. Invest in band aids since since religions are broken.

I don't think I have ever seen anyone try to simultaneously try to be stealthy and observe a fight at night while wielding a lit torch raised above the rock he's hiding behind. Entertaining play through.
Your humor combined with the joy and enthusiasm you show playing this game makes watching these videos one of the highlights of my day beef. Keep up the amazing work man your awesome.
Q is the default target lock key. Use it, as it helps tremendously with combat. I remapped mine to T, and 3rd person camera from P to Q. Target lock only happens at 20 yards or less, so spam the target lock key until you see a kind of bracket on your target. Then go to town. :) You need a skinning knife (Butcher feat) to get hides/pelts in large quantities. Make bone meal in a grinder using bones, chitin, fangs, horns. Harvest plants for seeds (aloe, lotus, berries, etc.) Make compost with bone meal, putrid meat, and plant fiber. Put resulting compost into planter with your choice of seeds. Wait a bit and you can harvest plants. Get the bandage feat for out of combat healing (aloe + leather). A note on putrid meat: if you put raw/cooked meat in the compost pile, it goes putrid in less than five minutes (per item). There are planters that are purely decorative, too.
As well as dodging. Not to mention going into combat with only 5 hit points. I'm sure some of it is for drama/entertainment value, but it still makes my head explode a little. :) Watching Beef's first series on this game is what got me into it. The game is definitely more enjoyable now. Hopefully even more so upon official release.
Hey Beef glad to see you back on Conan. The patch notes said there would be a nuetral village with a market system set up where you could by stuff like armor weapons and hide from NPCs
So you know if you use daggers, single hand weapon (sword, axe or mace) shield easier on single enemies you will have an easier time as two handed weapons use more stamina early on. Though with daggers you cause bleeding damage so use it with heavy attacks, right mouse button, you can also use daggers for crowds of enemies
The coins are for use in the neutral city - that's the huge npc city you used to get lots of thralls from last season. I don't think the vendors are up yet, though. Might want to check it out when you can. Just remember NOT to attack the npcs in town or they'll go hostile on you and you won't be able to use the vendors. There's also silver and gold ore you might come across. You can make molds and make your own coins to spend in the neutral city. The devs mentioned its name in their stream, but I can't remember it.
The compost pile is a placeable item. It makes the compost you put in the planters. A bit like in ark except you use spoiled meat instead of poop ^^ Nice episode once again, hope to see more

Just head north, you'll find it anywhere. I recommend the savanna "yellow part of the map" theres big animals you can farm for xp and thick hide. As well as. Exotic flesh. Theres iron on the cliffs,coal around the area, water and a lot of every resource.
there is a large amount of iron nods by your base. leave your house and go down to the water. follow the water line to the left and keep going. cant miss thim
The food doesn't regenerate fast enough for my likes. Getting the firebowl cauldron up and running making healing potions out of aloe plants does a far better job early game imo.
You need better type of food to regenerate faster or more, but bandages are great and so is the healing potions ... so bandages without weapons equipped and healing potions while fighting.
Just know that you have to put your weapons away and stand still for the bandages to do their thing. As soon as you are back in combat they stop working. Kinda makes sense, you need you hands to apply bandages, you can't be doing that and holding you weapons at the same time. Aloe soup, though, can be drunk on the run just fine.
@vintageBeef Not sure if you know this already but when fighting if you hit the Q key you will target lock your enemy and auto face it. I just restarted playing this again recently and I have not had any of the weird lag server issues you were experiencing.

beef just down the shore from your base towards the wall that killed you theres camp up the hill but also on the shore around the point there is iron rocks there and theres a cave by your place that has brimstone too
Vintage, delighted you and your building is back. Fyi, there is unfortunately a known/reported issue with the Ymir religion: the ice axe is not reaping ice shards (at all - FunCom put it on hold). Also, in future, ice shards will only be reapable from dead NPCs like with the other religions - Ymir is not very druidic :) PS: Keep those coins. Yep, there are indeed market merchants out there...
Hey Beef, that thing that looks like a pile of sand isn't actually compost, it's a compost BIN, it needs to be placed. My clan mate made the same mistake when setting up our garden. The icon is very misleading.
the Devs have added hidden chests all over the map that have some really good weapons and armor in them. I think you need keys to open them though that you can get from mini boss animals

They are decorating ones but to make real flowers or plants you need to make a compost pile first oh and there is a friendly npc camp its the old relichunter town
hey beef, I know you're trying out blunt weapons this season but I think swords and blades will attack faster and will keep your enemies at a distance, limiting your chance of getting hit.

Jacob Allen they have it in some of the caves iirc and it blows lol. If you go deep in caves. Ut it blows cause it reduces your max health permantly. Even after death the only way to remove it is to get level 3 exotic dancing personal stripers(i know they have different names loo l but exotic dancing stripers is more fitting)
Okay so I wasn't intrested in this game at all when it first released in ea. But I have to say it looks so much better and fun now! I'm gonna have to get my hands on this game!

You can hold "Q" while in combat and it will auto-lock onto your enemies, makes combat so much nicer and easier.

According to the laws of physics, when you die you T-Pose for 10 seconds

Breaking away from the Ark type combat was the best decision the devs could've possibly made.

Mr Beef, there is a cave near by your place, some spiders, and a few IRON nodes.

You need to grind bone are horns and add rooted meat with seeds of choice in a composted pile then put that in the planter with seeds of choice

The hunter city u can buy stuff from the npc. The fangs u put into the grinder to make bonemeal. Craft a skinning knife.
that first archer you killed was actually Tarzan, he was kidnapped from the jungle and enslaved to fight for that tribe
